Really the whole transformers thing is Voodoo/Black magic to me, great toy.

I don’t know anything about Sixshot, but I imagine him as the kid in your class who can pretty much do anything but fails to impress the teacher 😂. Like there’s Soundwave who pretty much does nothing and always receives praise from Megatron, and then there’s Sixshot trying to be a one man army even though no one likes him.

@@TAURON85 It sounds like you’re more so hating on Sixshot for his alt modes, rather than his overall skill and personality. I’ll admit that not all his alt modes are pleasing to look at, but character-wise he isn’t a failure. Otherwise Hasbro and Takara wouldn’t have ever brought him up again. Sixshot is a ruthless warrior that seeks out the toughest around to see if he’s stronger than them. He’s immensely durable, extremely skilled, intelligent, and powerful. We only saw one episode featuring him in the American run of G1, but Japan delved deeper into the character for their sequel series, and made him as a real antagonist. Even after the Japanese G1 continuation ended, Sixshot’s continued to pop up in tons of comic books, all of them showing him to be a powerful and skilled Decepticon that only the most strong of Transformers can try to stand up against. You only declare him a failure because of his alt modes, but that does not make him an actual failure. Everyone shows issues with some of his alt modes. But everyone who knows Sixshot knows that he’s one of the strongest and most destructive Decepticons in Transfomrers history.

Wow, color me impressed! I especially like how well all the bits that are only used for one mode store.

A great version of Sixshot love the clever engineering for the hiding of wheels and treads all in all a great sixshot. Would love to see them try out the Brave fighters Da-Garn Seven Changer He also was a cool multi former.

Your shins are transformed correctly. They do wiggle. And the knees are too loose. Still a great figure.

Damn, I miss these toys.. I had a slew of Transformers, G.I. Joe, Turtles, Ghost Busters, Go-Bots, He-Man & Voltron, even had some of those Crash Test Dummy Toys!!

That was (dare I say) deceptively more complicated than it looks to be at first glance.

Just an FYI, if you split the sword it can store on the black part of the wings. The black part of the wing on one side has a hole for the peg on the inside of the half sword near the hilt, while the black part of the wing on the other side has a small peg that fits the hole on the inside of the hilt of the other half sword. It may not look good, but it is storage that works for all modes. Great review as always. Thanks

I love in the skit how Megs went over some of his other versions.

Swords peg to wings on the back, theres a hold on one side and a peg on the other.

If you had left the rest of the robot mode as it was and bent the wolf head all the way down so it points forward, you would have had a hidden seventh Commander Cruger mode...

he is the mater of YOGA poses all right lol. I love the idea of six shots, but of course it wont be as cool on paper or plastic.

I like that they did a lot more than most have with the wolf hind legs.

It irks me so much that Sixshot is such a cool character and yet every figure of him ever made is basically impossible to get for below 200 dollars

I liked Sixshot's car and plane alt-modes. They just suffer from what a lot of the later transformers did in that they were too heavily influenced on looking futuristic, like Kup and Springer's

To think this much brilliant engineering goes into making a robot that pretends it can turn into five alt mode but really can't make any one of them convincing enough. I for one am never a fan of SixShot. Guess more is not always better.

As a person who cant afford these things i spend my time looking at the transformations and memorizing them... i mean i leave out little things but have most of the thing memorized... This is toy gave me a headache... I hate how it isnt even that complicated but 6 forms just fry my brain...

yeah, i got a hanzo luckily for only 50 dollars plus 10 dollars shipping and complete from a seller :D it was loose though but still complete (no box)

Fuuma from Gcreation is the BEST Sixshot, but it is also the more expensive... :(

so wolf mode has no tail that means it is a tail's wolf

@Aspiring Creator I never mentioned the cartoon, nor did I imply it. Nor did I mention or imply anything about the engineering principles. Nor did I imply the toy in its totality was bad or badly designed. The colors however are different, the side by side comparison clearly shows the difference in colors from the g1 and this beyond any doubt. It is a preference thing, just as you have your preferences, I have mine. Just because I talk about the colors does not mean I am nitpicking, for that to happen I could easily have mentioned the wrong molding details in the chest, the missing details on the chest wings, the chrome that is missing from the figure, the sticker details not added as paint apps in this one, there is more, but none of that was really important to me as a whole, it was simply the color as I mentioned. the G1 had many details this one does not, just as this has many engineering designs the g1 does not, but none of that was relevant to me in this case. I did not begrudge anyone else if they liked it or not, I still would pass on this on the original basis. Thanks.

@Aspiring Creator All that is true to an extent yes. For me, depending on the figure, and my "fondness" of that character it can swing in different directions as with many others I imagine. Sometimes I prefer the animated look, sometimes (most times if being honest) I prefer the look of the toy version, but it always comes down to the preferences of an individual. For the most part I liked the toys much more than the show, was not until I was much older that I even bothered to really sit down and watch it completely and the several shows thereafter, but the toys always fascinated me, the loud, and sometimes subtle blends of colors stuck out the most, made them more memorable, the little-molded details added here and there, Heck even the stickers I enjoyed, the engineering to make it happen, and all those things we as fans enjoy although not entirely in the same way. And yes, Hydra is an example of that in this case.
