I liked fleep cause I thought the cursor select effect looked awesome and being able to trigger it whenever I wanted without having to go 3d was fun

If I were you, I’d set up future polls for Paper Mario partners in a ranked-choice system, because there may be one that’s everyone’s second favorite, for example. I’d suggest maybe a top 3, where the last choice gets 1 vote, the second gets 2, and the first gets 4, for example. This would also help break ties quicker, since those less popular partners would still get votes, just mostly the smaller ones.

One thing you should know about Carrie is that Bowser can’t breath fire in mid air but if you use Carrie you can do it makes her much more viable

What sucks about Dashell is most people who do the pit of 100 trials save it for the post game when the pixel is least useful.

@@ShroobInvader to be honest I think there should have been a shortcut to the the dragon boss in the pit of 100 trials. There should have been a piccolo box that you have to use her too to destroy it and it would be a sore cut right to the pit of 100 trials the 100th room. It would make Piccolo much more useful

Im really sad that Dashell losed the Tiebreaker, I love using him a lot and for me the Flipside Pit wasnt hard so I usually get Dashell in the midgame.

Great ranking! Although I would personally put Dottie in at least top five because she was the only reason I managed to beat the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. Since enemies don't see you when you're tiny, my strategy was to shrink as Bowser and torch the unsuspecting foes. Also, it was a nice touch having the music for each number correspond to the location where you find that Pixl.

My favorite pixl is tied between Thoreau and Boomer, I have said before that they can use their powers as a team by setting down Boomer and then using Thoreau to pick up and throw Boomer at enemies, it isn't really necasary but I just love the concept of pixl teamwork. I also think that Boomer is so cute looking and has such a fun personality when you first meet him.

Fleep is used frequently in 8-3. Otherwise, Fleep’s for treasure hunting. Also, Piccolo is actually pretty important in the Underchomp fight.

@@ShroobInvader Oh! Don’t worry! You actually didn’t miss much with Fleep because I’d be sure that no one remembered, did, or like the treasure hunting aspect of the game. I actually didn’t do the treasure hunting myself. I did distinctly remember 8-3’s uses with Fleep because I think that’s my favorite part of this level; re-visiting every world to chase Dimentio. I have fought Underchomp without Piccolo, and it might be my lack of knowledge/memory about them, but the Underchomp almost killed me. It’s better to bring Piccolo to make Underchomp fall asleep to make the fight way easier. One more thing I will mention, Thoreau is actually a counter for a surprising amount of the bosses. He makes O’Chunks dizzy by throwing him, you can throw rubees at Mimi, you can throw the Meowbombs at Francis (actually very useful and kind of fun for me), and if you’re feeling up to it, he can be used against King Crocus and Bonechill (though, Luigi basically overshadows that latter usage). Edits: Thoreau also steals Shroom Shakes from Mr. L as well, which is a somewhat funny use for him. He’s also essential against the -acktails.

@@Spark472 Fleep is useful for defeating Mr. Is that appear in Castle Bleck, and it can stun enemies which has it’s niches. Otherwise treasure hunting. Yeah! I think I messed up Underchomp LMAO.

Fleep deserves to be in last, but it isn’t completely useless. More than piccolo, anyway. The trouble is, it only gets used if you’re doing the map side quests. That’s where fleep shines, hunting down rare items using the map chaps maps

I put Fleep 2nd to last right? If so then I'm not changing it, because Tippi controls terribly with the Wii remote, but if no tippi and no optional pixls then yeah

I like Boomer the most, because I get to make an obvious Zelda CD-i reference when my friends are around, “Bombs? You want it? It’s yours my friend, as long as you have enough rubies.” _(yes, I know that it’s rupees, but it sounds like he’s saying rubies)_

Good list man! Honestly was surprised with how many tiebreakers this list had, goes to show the quality (or in the bottom of the list’s case lack there of) of these things! Honestly for me personally I love Carrie and Boomer but if I had to choose I’d give the slight edge to Boomer, moving around fast is fun but something so satisfying about using Boomer honestly

I recommend anyone who hasn’t do the pit of 100 trials to get Dashell he’s an amazing pixl and the trials are challenging and fun at a low level requires some strategy I usually do it after chapter 4!

I'm upset though that the pixels don't really have much of a purpose only a couple of them really come in handy. If they ever remaster Super Paper Mario for the switch I would love for the pixels to be more useful

Something I remember about Barry is that he can also deflect progectile attacks, there is this enemy I remember seeing multiple times in both pits of 100 trials that sent soundwaves at you by shouting and with the low ceilings everywhere it makes it hard to jump over it using Barry to send the attacks back at them makes Barry my most used pixl in both of the pits

I think Fleep is underrated because yeah, you can't kill with it, but it can hit any enemies from any point on the screen, meaning it has its advantage over the other offensive abilities, while actually giving you an advantage in combat, and therefore having one thing better than the more evasive abilities.

Eh, idk, the problem with fleep is that he is awkward to control and he is slow with what he does, I’d rather just use bowser and Carrie or even a boomer or a cudge which are instant

@@ShroobInvader But even if you struggle with the controls of Fleep (which I don't, but I can see why you do), most of the time you would want to use Fleep is where it is harder for enemies to hit you, meaning you have generally more room to make mistake with this Pixl than with those that requires you to get closer to your opponent. Basically, imagine you have an enemy on top of a platform, and every time you get to that platform the enemy knocks you out of it, letting you no chance to place a bomb with Boomer or using your close range hammer with Cudge. However, the enemy can't attack you when you are out of the platform. This is a perfect opportunity to use Fleep make that enemy dizzy, leaving it right open to be killed when you'll get on that platform, and preventing it to knock you out of it. I still think Cudge, Carrie, and Boomer are the main Pixls you will use most of the time, but Fleep have its niche that make it very useful in some situations if you take full advantage of Fleep's strong points, and this in my opinion makes it a mid tier Pixl alongside Thoreau and Thudley.

Picollo has a fourth use which is to put the underchomp to sleep, but that's a one time thing so it doesn't change things that mutch.

Easiest strat, put it to sleep, then do a powerful attack. You get through the fight without taking any damage!

The only time I’ve used Dashell is in world six because by the time I get to world six, I’ve done both flipside and flopside pit of 100 trials

Btw Dottie is a female pixl too lol And maybe Piccolo too but I'm not so sure about them. For me the pixl I used by far the most was Barry. Dude really helped me through the pits of 100 trialses. Btw Shroob have you beaten the pits before?

I beat the Flipside one plenty of times and the Flopside one twice because the game made me do it. Never could beat the Rougeport one. Pits of 100 trials were an interesting idea and I hope they return. Good if you wanna spend a whole day trying to topple a tremendous challenge.

@@ShroobInvader just the ridiculous amount of backtracking that ruins it AND the theme for river twygz bed which is literally more creepier than toad town’s theme in PiT,Lavender Town, Giygas’ theme, and ikana valley. Also, Bonechill is a family friendly way of saying how the enemies in the over there worship the,you know.

I dissagre with dottie, it litteraly makes you invicible to enemies, which is usefull in the 100 pit trials in rounds with hammer bros and the soccer koppas, not mucho buts something is something.

@@ShroobInvader I recomend you to try it, it's kinda challenging, the best combo for me by far is bowser and carrie, wich is basically coverage for almost all enemies regarding the blue koopas I don't remember the name that is better mario and the hammer, and the ones that you kill with boomer and better bring mario with that, and the hammer bros and soccer koopas is dottie and bowser but sometimes you need help to reach a platform so you would need luigi for that, also bring a lot of dillis deluxe made from the things that you get after cooking ultra shroom shake and super shroom shake, something that doubles the atack for the flopside final room boss and the one that you get from cocking block block, that would be some of my recomendations if you want to try that, also good xp that is usefull to completing the world 6.

Yay I never use fleep as well I feel like there no reason to use him u use him like 4 times in the game.

I defeated the final boss with Bowser and Slim.
