I have the original Armada Prime. That was surprisingly close to the original transformation. Also I can't wait to see an Armada Jetfire and Overload so you can make the Primes super combination.

just got mine today, watched the video and... nothing broke! i was sure there was a supposed QC issue around the chest area in the combined mode... I'm glad mines fine. That chin trick really helps.

Ow...my teeth broke from how hard nostalgia just punched me in the face. That is an AMAZING job!

This kinda makes me hope they do one of RID Optimus Prime (The one that turned into a fire truck). I really liked the look of his super mode.

I might just have to get this one, Armada Prime was my all-time favorite. Now we just need a Fans Hobby Jetfire so we can have Jet Optimus

I am so glad third party companies are starting to make toys of older/less recognizable transformers shows

I appreciated that you actually had to grab Prime's cab to disconnect the trailer which shows the trailer is actually connected and not just sitting there with gravity and very loose tabs like is the most common way they connect.

Finally a armda prime with a trailer leg mode THAT ACTUALLY HAS ARTICULATION

It's like Mascot read my mind when he said, "Armada Prime Time!" 😆

You can tell emgo loves Optimus Prime. He buys almost everyone of them. Me im collecting all the nemesis primes ^^

I can't wait to get my second run copy, Armada was my first TF series so I'm incredibly stoked!

The engineering on the base alone is amazing. I especially love how this has working treads and firing missiles, the latter seeming to be a lost art. The cab/robot isn't so great though, the waist joint you have to unlock being especially ugly and a bad idea.

I wonder when Transformers Animated is gonna get the third-party figure support.

I would love it if Masterpiece made a Armada Optimus Prime with trailer and minicon along with a Armada JetFire so then you can combine both figures, And of Course you cant Forget Armada Megs

The fact the trailer looks good, the base mode works, and it doesn't hinder the pants mode like the original armada prime

Don't you just love it when the transformation is similar to the in the shows 😊🥰

ahhhh, childhood. Armada and the 2001 Robots in Disguise (Car Robots (I hate that I have to put the date for that now)) were the main transformers shows that I grew up on as a kid. The Unicron Trilogy and 2001 RID need more attention from 3P companies. A 3P RID (2001) Megatron would be SOOOOOOO amazing!!!!!!!!!

Amazing representation of prime from Armada. Gosh I realize I should go back and try and watch the show again, it was a great show.

I can finally have the Prime of my childhood in MP form. So excited for Fans Hobby's Armada Megatron. Especially since they resolved the plastic issue of the first rushed batch.

Btw love this figure and we need a whole compilation of you spinning these guys around when you're saying: "so let's get down to transformation shall we?"

36:10 My guess is that the pressure from the plastic flexing also helps to keep the tabs in place.

Armada was the series that introduced me to Transformers so this is pretty awesome.

Cybertron was my introduction to Transformers.

This figure has some serious QC issues. ShowZ has been kind enough to send me several repair parts. But it remains one of my favorites.

Love that trailer base mode! Armada was my first Transformers, and the figure this was based on was my first Prime. So many memories flooding back in this video 🥲

Armada was my first proper introduction to transformers so I got the biggest smile right now.

This is why I miss this kind of optimus prime. Not only does he combine with the trailer that he comes with but also its an option to combine with both jetfire and overload.

@@unuseableb I know that they've made 2 redesigns since the initial designs came out (with the latest ones having alternative faces), but I'm really excited. The shoulders don't bother me much since they can articulate as well and don't get in the way of the arm.

Still a great review. Rewatching this with the Megatron coming out any day now (despite already owning Prime), because it's such an impressive piece. I can't wait to see Emgo review Megatron when he hits. So weird, I was a young kid when G1 hit, but there's something really special about Armada that still hits me in such a good way. I can't wait to see their Tidal Wave (one of my all-time favorites).

11:18 By all the legs in the frame I’m guessing prime can be taller and beefier like in energon or armada I can’t remember which one. (Yes that much leg classifies as legs.)

I love the base mode. That might be the best base mode I’ve ever seen. I like the multiple platforms. Gives me lots of ideas.

That panel behind the head is actually fairly accurate for Armada Prime.

Emgo shows that videos can be really good without much editing and that good because in just 2 days he uploaded about 5 vids!
