I bought this for my 4 year old. Maybe it's too early but I'm sure he'll spending hours playing these and I can have some time back for my own 😜

Awesome looking figure but such a pain to get in his final mode . So frustrating. But I still love it!

I really like your review.

I thought that Takara's Super Ginrai was a decent Powermaster figure. This one? Many steps ahead of Takara's version. Plus, he's taller. Finding this toy will be a pipe dream for me, though.

@@tonyc.0451 Yep, probably does. Also, Powermaster Prime is an amazing idea executed perfectly by Fans Hobby but not done justice by Hasbro or Takara.

In vehicle mode the engine is supposed to be plugged in the front

The only reason that the g1 Optimus used his power Master was to combine cab and trailer

Sorry for not notifying you about this sooner, but your wish has came true! Fans Hobby did reissue that figure and made some new changes to it, they added red eyes and chrome thighs on both the core robot and super modes which is a nod to the original G1 Powermaster Prime, and an adjustable bumper to give the super mode chest a more curvy look, and new hands with fully articulated fingers!

Compared to the original power master Prime this has better legs and arms in both the cab and combined form however overall the original was a simpler transformation and honestly looked better to me

Disagree all you want, but I'd be excited if Takara announced Masterpiece Super God Masterforce figures. I just hope they'll be good.

God bomber could be called power bomber and God ginrai should be power commander!

This looks like a old version of the power of the prime optimus prime

Although this ginrai appearance is not very nice, it can set many poses and its scale is prefect to takara tomy mp serie. I am looking forward to see overlord.

Why are the base modes for newer toys so much worse than G1 base modes?

He looks like he has a belly when fully transform it make him look weird

I'm really struggling to decide which to get. I like the scale of this one but I do think thunder manus looks better. I also have striker noir so that's leading me towards make toys. There's just something about this I love

Nice short review. Personally, I prefer short video toy reviews like this. I'm going to pre-order the re-issued version featuring chrome thighs and articulated fingers.

For $200, you shouldn’t have ANY issues.

When you start saying the issues in vehicle mode the sound is off like really off

I prefer thunder manus to this, it's smaller, which I love, the head on this fig. Looks real good, but it dosnt have a divine suit like manus

Yeah, the big backpack in combined mode is pretty much how Powermaster Optimus Prime works.

I don't like how much this figure uses slide rails and such to move the parts about. Using friction like that makes the figure feel like it'll have a short life span.

Actually, it REALLY doesn't. It's durable and tough, not cheap plastic and crap engineering. EVERYTHING is tight, NOTHING loose.

I dont really like that big piston on the shin. I would rather have 2 small pistons on the back side of the leg. Just me.

I think this is the first Transformer I've seen in a while where every mode looks compromised, personally I think it looks a complete mess. I'll take the 2017 Power Rangers Megazord over this guy. :P

You have fun with your little megazord, I'll continue enjoying the hell out of this bad@$$ Transformer. NOTHING about his combined mode looks remotely "compromised", vehicle mode, only his trailer is flatter than it should be, base modes are almost ALWAYS a joke, though the G1 BASE mode was actually pretty good. THIS is actually the first Transformer in awhile that doesn't SUCK doing what it's supposed to do AS THIS CHARACTER, and AT THIS scale. You might just want to stick to your Power Rangers.
