A danish-tasmanian allegiance, recorded by these two excellent acts in March, 2019, when Carved Cross was in Copenhagen for the brilliant Vort Fatum festival.
The tracks by the Korpsånd Circle tyrants already showcased the band's transition into the sound they would present on the more recent full length, "Den første ild", less focused on the punk-ish elements, moving towards a more atmospheric and epic style of pagan Black Metal, despite with a very somber execution on these recordings.
Whereas Carved Cross' side is definitely their cleaner material to date, probably influenced by the danish circle itself and the fact they used their gear and it was recorded by J. B. Hviid. The guitar tone is quite more bass-y, having a punch to it similar to the danish. Either way it still sounds like Carved Cross. Slow paced, contemplative Raw Black Metal hymns towards negativity.
