Ive owned simagic, moza and so many more and this base is the best wheelbase ive ever used. More grounded feeling to the road and grip then ive ever felt before. Helps give a not understeer feel. Ive never had an experience with a dd wheel as good as the dd+. Went from getting it for console to mstch my 15nm i was used to from simagic alpha to now replacing my entire setup. Even the damn v2 elite pedals the loadcell feels better then the p1000 pedals that i just could not get dialed in as well. Listen i get the issues going on with fanatec but if anyone wants to but this i day go for it. Because god it was worth it. Im still on stock i havent uodated the drivers/firmware because of issues ive heard about im waiting loke the dev told me to for 457 when that comes out. As for now its perfection. I did hear from fanatec that light dampening feel the extrs like 10% even when not playing will be gone later with an update so its gonns feel even more open and fluid then it already does and its already fine tbh. P.s. i actually like the feel of this base when not ahving ffb at 100% on the base. I usually keep it at 50 to 60% on the base and adjust in game to my liking. This base is nothing like the dd1 and dd2 that neede dthe 100% in wheelbase to feel right. But doing it this way the way in doing it actually helps give more of that flow feel and the weight comes in when its needed. Instwsd of being so so weighty. Its a very strong 15nm base. Feels stronger then my alpha. I also keep INT around 2 to 4 depending on game. Def way better then the stock 11.

I have to agree with you on the lower force feedback settings. I gave it a go around 75% force feedback and especially in games like BeamNG That made a HUGE Difference. I got to try Moza at a friends house a while back and didn't like the feel compared to my wheelbase then at the time which was a csl dd. That's why when I got myself a PS5 and saw that Fanatec had brought out a new wheelbase I wanted to give it a go. Awesome comment, thank you very much. Eli

Nice! Yeah I like fanatecs ffb way more then moza. Tbh everytime i try other brands I dont like it as much. ​people can hate on there customer service all they want but they have a special feel with there ffb implementation. Once you adapt others just dont feel as good or the same. But now this base can feel like simucube and asetek with that heavy center torwue weight feel and very detailed or you can get that lighter flowy feel where the forces come in and torque only when needed. So you can adjust to different feeld. Love it@@Elioncars

@@reviewforthetube6485 Fanatecs FFB just feels right as well yeah, Logitech is good but emensly underpowered and hense often has issues with drifting as the wheel simply can't spin back fast enough. Thrustmaster (i tried the t300 once) takes it a step up again but its very knotchy as its gear driven. And all the Chinese sim racing brands that have entered the market recently (simagic, moza, pxn, cammus) they all basically copied Fanatec but non of them have been able to refine the feedback the way Fanatec Has. Also side not, I have a feeling that on the one hand, all these new brands entering the market is awesome. It will bring prices down on stuff like Fanatec and add more completion, meaning Fanatec No longer has monopoly. HOWEVER, the issue so many people are overlooking is CHINA. Under Chinese law, stuff that is built in Chinese factories must have at least 50% Chinese work force, and "everything belongs to everyone". So Fanatec, (just like basically every other country in the world producing stuff in china) have just been robbed with the CSL- DD with Moza coming out with its R5 or something base, which internally, is very similar to the Fanatec CSL DD. Anyway.. 😅 I am lucky as I have so far I have had no real issues with Fanatec Customer service. I am here in Australia and maybe that's why but when I sent my shifter and my pedals a while back in for repair under warranty, It was a quick email from me, I got a response within 2 days and after sending them a video of my stuff they sent me all the info for me to send it into them. Then 3ish weeks later it was all back.

I will try it now for ACC on PS5 but it’s to strong. I also have only demping feeling when sliding. And no good feeling to catch the car when it is too late.

I only tested ACC on pc however have heard its almost identical on PS5. Yes please give it a try. Keep in mind these are just my settings that I found work best for me so yeah let me know how you go

Hi, its a bit complicated but you need to configure them on your pc, then change the mode via the base to "PS5", then unplug from pc and plug into console
