Wow! That was so frustrating just watching the beginning. I was able to see the excitement and anticipation being drained from you after each discovery. Glad you got it all sorted out though.

The wheel looks great. I think generally sim racing wheels are mostly on the smaller side but you will adjust quite fast to it's bigger size. Considering the QR2 mess up, it just adds up to generally bad experience which fanatec gives to their customers (it is yet another story of them messing up).

I have that Fanatec BMW GT3 and thought it is the best, but after buying the Phoenix class 1 DTM wheel which is the same wheels they used in the Audis with the megaline component, I now have a doubt that it is the best. The Fanatec became too bulky, the paddles are now too far for my reach and it felt more like a toy to me now than a real racing wheel. Sorry to disappoint, the megaline paddles, the reach, the buttons is far better on the Phoenix, the grip is also designed very well on the hand that gives a lot of immersion, hard to explain but it felt more like I am driving a real race car on the Phoenix. I know it is expensive but it is crazy good.

Nice. I took a chance on an upstart company called Simagic and things just keep getting better with them. I went that route because of the standard racecar NRG style quick disconnect system and bluetooth wheel. Firmware updates are automatic when the wheel is connected to the drive. I really like it. The thing about ecosystems is once you get into them at such an expense, there is no leaving 😊😂😂. That is a very nice wheel and for that kind of money they should have the V2 mount already installed. The rig is looking great, if I may, I would recommend tuning down the traction loss to give a slight feel in the turns and a noticible pull when actually losing traction. My DOF Reality P3 is that way and it feels authentic. My actuator system shows up next week. My traction loss from E-Racinglabs already showed up and the components are impressive so far. Congrats on the awesome wheel and keep on tuning... peace.

I don’t think traction loss is actually turned up much. I think what you are seeing when I am getting knocked left and right is going a bit on the curb where it gets bumpy.

Did you get used to the bigger size of the wheel now after a month? I am on a v2.5x currently like you were and thinking about getting a M4 GT3 too when it is back on stock. Thanks!

I haven’t played much since I have been busy with work. I still feel though it is easier to drive and got faster times using the 2.5

Hello. Did you manage to solve the problem with fanatec why the steering wheel is not with qr2? I also preordered this wheel a few days ago and I was wondering what to do if I have the same problem? Will they send the qr2 pro separately or will I have to buy it.

I am sure they will make it right. The issue is getting a hold of them. For the past 2 weeks, i have been emailing and no response.

Hi, it's ridiculous what Fanatec gets up to every now and then... it took them 4 years to release the QR2......if you buy a product in a certain price range there is no option to choose whether qr1 or qr2, so you have to buy it with the qr1 and buy the qr2 separately, which is not always available. I don't think it's a correct sales system... Anyway, congratulations on your purchase, it's truly spectacular.

They are supposed to send it with the QR2 as it stated when I ordered it. They messed up.

What monitors do you have ? Size and model please

Fanatec gets things wrong more often than they get them right. Even ween buying a $1500 wheel, they screw things up. Also, good luck getting them to make it righrt- they don't reallly give a crap about you once they've got your $$. Don't biy from Fanatec: they've become a total fly-by-night operation.
