    I've got 6 of the spider farmer fans. They run 24/7 and have had zero issues in over 3 months. Will be replacing my Jardins when they die out. The versatility of 7 speeds and the lower wattage is awesome. Definitely worth the money. The Jardins are lucky to last past 3 months. I started with 10 I have 4 left.

    @@gardensupplyguys I appreciate you breaking it down in a concise way. I have to admit I was on the "it's all from one factory" mindset haha. Even as a spider farmer guy I was assuming it was shared technology. I mean how different can fans really be? Turns out a hell of a lot haha. Thanks for the insight. I agree with your ratings too, that new gen 2 is the pinnacle if a little expensive when buying 4 per tent. Happy to know I have a happy medium. I completely agree with you about the Jardins, my local grow shop sighed relief when I changed so they weren't responsible for replacing anymore haha. If they didn't make it to 6 months they would replace and send back. Jardin are insanely accepting of refunds obviously they know they are crap. Anyway thanks again I've subbed and look forward to more equipment breakdowns. Id love some Information on the LED "Booster bars" with UV and IR. I am thinking they are a waste of money as they are UVA and so give no noticeable boost and the "IR" are just reds. Any insight would be great.

    I just installed 2 Spider farmer fans recently and they are working excellently and very quiet. Only 7 speeds vs 10 on ac infinity is not a problem. They are well worth the price when you compare them to other brands. I wouldn't let 3 fan speeds be a deal breaker. Save the money and go for the Spider farmer.

    Thanks for the video. I would be happy with either the Spider Farmer or the AC Infinity Gen 2. Unfortunately, in my region, both fans are ridiculously expensive for what they are. I know they have bells and whistle and the low wattage is definitely a plus but I can't justify spending $80 on a freaking fan. Both AC and Spider Farmer have these things way overpriced. I'll wait for a deep discount before I even consider one. Until them, the $20 cheap clip on I have is working great and doing what I need a fan to do.

From what i saw from Mars Hydro states: We are here to make 💰 by cutting corners on quality and design. Thats a $29.99 fan at best IMO… same with VivoSun… cheap light plastic feel… One comment said it best… “Feels like a Toy Fan” Now AC Infinity and Spider Farmer hold the top spots… IMHO. I just call it as I see it. Everyone can make their own call… We are a community and its about the info sprinkled with some laughs in between. Just another day at Garden Supply Guys 🤩💯🌱✅💪

    They were my two faves ! Spider Farmers slip gear ⚙️ setup I found cool from a design standpoint. AC Infinity GEN2 with the sensors and recal set points blew my mind as that takes extra $$$ to do that.. and not just a few pennies… that and the neck ball bearing on steal plate… heaviest fan out of all of them and we like weight. Time will tell with all these new fans. May the best ☝️ win 🏆

    any fan that uses one motor for the fan and oscillation will fail eventually, the gears are just too weak.

  • @gardensupplyguys

    @gardensupplyguys

    2 ай бұрын

    The single motor just gets overloaded with varying weight loads if you stack it all into one fan function. We saw this with Monkey Fans by Secret Jardin… what a shit show those units were. Just weak and poorly engineered and even the manufacturer would miss greasing the gears properly which would cause drag right out of the box once turned on with oscillation function engaged.

    I gotta say the Spider Farmer is much much better engineered vs the Mars Hydro. The Mars is really cheap feeling in weight and plastic grade vs the heavier duty mold, weight as well as the gearing design for oscillation function with the slip gear. Spider Farmer is the only company to drop in that design and it operates very well in a fashion I do not see having a high fail rate. Its our humble opinion.
