The reason why the little girl who reacted to going to her parents surprising her with a trip to Disney Land , was because her sister who is off camera, was literally sobbing uncontrollably. And she made that face as to say “could you not?” Because even at that young age she thought “damn…take it easy! It’s not THAT big a deal!”

Those were some good years for me too - from 2010 to 2012 I got my first car, graduated high school, attended my first year of college, and contemplated the world ending in 2012 as I reposted countless memes and created some memes of my own. And yes the world did end in a way in 2012 and we're living in an alternate timeline. But even before that I took part in the internet meme community as far back as 2007. It was different, the memes were simpler and it was mostly nerdy types like me making silly images and occasional videos to make each other laugh. But then it got really popular with the "normies," the meme formats became standardized and formulaic, and worst of all was seeing it commercialized. I've had a couple of stints on KZread from 2007-2015 across unrelated and terminated/inactive channels with a lot of meme videos just gone because of copyright infringement. I have thought about going back into content creating on KZread one day, but it won't be for making funny meme content, more so for vlogging and talking about local issues on yet another channel I have yet to even think of a name for. How things have changed.

My son was the same exact age when the did you ever have a dream meme came out. Found it on his PC and at first thought he did this on his own without asking me as he looks and sounds exactly like the other child, but what I didn't know, was that his older sister had found the link and sent it to him. It actually didn't end there.after asking if he made it and finding out he didn't, he and his sister put up a KZread channel, ages 5 and 6. They would sneak my camera phone out 3 am, do their recordings, clear the memory and put it back. I would have most likely been ignorant to this until I went to upgrade the computers, and found backups they didn't know never deleted, off the RAID system . Playd the first over my surround sound system, to hear my son go "Oh god, kill me now!" They were a bunch of recordings for their Minecraft channel. Funny how kids do things and get embarrassed by their own work lol.

I went to high school with Lainey Griner and I was so happy for her and Sammy when they became meme famous lol… also really glad that Justin was able to get his operation ! Lainey was always super nice in school so she deserves “ success kid “ lol …

I'm a graphic artist and I wanted to point out the color highlighted in the "Success-Kid" with his little fist up. The shirt he's wearing is a bright green. If it had been red, this would have exemplified anger or defensiveness. Which would have been a different meme altogether. The meme became of meme of success-against-all odds; the "little fish is a big pond." Green matches this because green is a color of growth and change, and therefore success must be "found." You have to fight for it, and also MOVE with it. Green is growth. (A red shirt on the kid would be more like "I'm gonna punch you out!." Remember the story that the mother's original tag for her son's picture was meant to convey _anger_. "I hate sand castles.")
