Loved Glen Campbell's voice. I fell in love with "Wichita Lineman" first of all. A gifted singer and courageous man.

I love “Turn Around, Look at Me”. He actually wrote that one. He recorded so many wonderful songs and put so much feeling into every one. ❤️

Oops, I am late to the party. Glen has an Uncle who lives very close to the cemetery. He would have welcomed you in his house, treated you well, and shared some fantastic Glen and "Uncle" Boo stories. Boo is who taught Glen how to play. Good folks living in that part of the country! Nice job!

My ultimate favorite glen Campbell song is Rhinestone Cowboy because I heard the song when I was in school back in the 70s

Glen was always greatly loved in the UK. We grew up with his music at home. Recently heard his recording of "The last time I saw her face" its so beautiful, I cried. Very special singer and great guitarist. Much missed 💖

Glen was a great musician. If I had to pick a favorite song, I liked so many, I guess it would be Galveston.

i know their was a claim that he still enjoyed performing, but some if the video I ahve seen ( particularly the one with his where they discuss with the poor man standing there how his medication had made him highly sexed and that he had started to urinate around the house were horrific-no-one does that to someone they love, and to say he had given permission for those segments is laughable, they could have givne the poor man some dignity rather than squeeze every last penny out of him.

One of a handful of true super-talented superstars.

He was part of my growing up, like many stars were. I loved his tv show and Wichita Lineman is my favorite and By the Time I Get to Phoenix my 2and favorite. I remember many songs and was happy he still remained important to the music listeners. His manners were always southern like. Glad his heart was to be at home for eternity.

I live near here, my Dad grew up with Glen as kids.

Listened to him growing up in a little island in the Pacific called Fiji . He was huge there , mind you still is . We all know his songs . Greatness lives forever 🎶🎶🎶🎶

Actually got to meet his mom and dad in Delight many yrs ago. They lived in a home built by Glen for them. They were delightful people and so nice to talk with. A trip I will never forget.

With this vlog you have captured the driving force that made Glen Campbell the humble star that he was. He always was that down to earth man. The small town life and atmosphere gave him the ability to make us all feel happy as we listen to his music. Thank you for this sweet vlog

Wichita Lineman was my favorite! I liked him as a pre- teenager, but now realize how talented and diverse he was.

I liked all of Glen Campbell's songs. It's a really nice private resting place.

Glen was a giant in the music business,a legend! I was fortunate to go to a concert of his Branson,MO. At the Glen Campbell Theatre! Excellent show! He will be missed.

I love his music. Wichita Lineman is my favorite! Thank you for this!

Great vid Steve. Glen's final resting place is unusual and quite humble. Loved his album Ghost On The Canvas. Any Trouble always brings a tear to my eye. Keep on doing what you do Steve, you're doing a great job.

My favorite Glen Campbell song is the one that made him a superstar "By the time I get to Phoenix". Glen was going to dropped by Capitol records until he was playing a Johnny Rivers session and came across Johnny's album "Changes". He played the album and came across the song with much excitement. Glen told AlDelory pianist and Capitol exec that he wanted to record the song. the rest is history and Glen was on Capitol records a very long time.

My fave Glen Campbell song is Anybody Going to San Antoine or Phoenix Arizona . Great show thanks for taking us along. Now I have a little more insight on Texarkana. On the State Line!!!!

Definitely my favorite was Rhinestone Cowboy. I remember listening to that song played over and over again on the car AM radio during a family trip from Minnesota to Washington and Oregon in the Summer of 1975. I was about to begin my sophomore year in high school.

He really did have a beautiful voice and through his songs, he will live on.. My favourite song was Gentle on my mind..

Nature Girl Yes, I live in God's country and have had many one on ones, with special wild animals that come, to trust me. That is a gift from God. On the down side, there is a bad element that come to purposely harm, them. 😢

Nature Girl Birds are wonderful. I had some ground squirrels that I just loved. They were very friendly and had an incredible whistle sound. I had thought it was an unknown bird until I saw it sitting up and whistling. Another loss of friends, that were around the yard for a couple of years. I moved tadpoles from drying up puddles in buckets after catching them with a spoon and tiny strainer at the gravel pit. I carried them back to the lake at let them go into beautiful clear water. I had wood frogs, toads, And green tree frogs in the yard after the matured in the lake. 🐸

Loved Glen Campbell, just a great performer and entertainer. Thanks Steve.

I saw him with my dad on his last tour. He forgot lines at times but still sounded great.

Galveston is the track I will always link with Glen, RIP you wonderful man..

As a Kansan I'm partial to "Wichita LIneman" and than great verse: "And I need you more than want you / And I want you for all time."

I love the song "Always Gental On My Mind". And what he did for Charlie Pride at the CMA in the 70's😄.

Glen was a cousin, the Campbell Surname is from Scotland, in the South we have a lot of small family cemeteries..

I completely agree with you, it's magical, Jimmy Webb's fabulous writing skills and Glen's sublime perfect voice sends shivers through me everytime I listen to it and I listen to it a lot- love it! In fact, I just love any song by Glen Campbell- the ultimate singer and musician - a master of his craft- both singing and his expertise as a guitarist- never will anyone come close in my opinion. RIP Glen - thanks for such wonderful memories.

Its Only Make Believe is my favourite. Since my school days. Im in love with this song

Daughter Ashley such an accomplished musician. Toured with dad and kept him in tune on the last tour when brain functions fading.

I live in Arkansas I should go visit his grave and pay my respect, I bought his "Best of the Early Years CD at Wal-Mart great album! Only two hours and 30 mins away not far! RIP MR Campbell!

Beautiful setting made even better with all the birds chirping. Loved Rhinestone Cowboy as a kid. Appreciated more of his other songs as an adult. His daughters song for him is one of the most touching songs ever written.

Glen Campbell is an all time great artist! My favorite was "By the time I get to Phoenix." I remember in the 80's he was doing the summer tours and I waited in line to see him in Ohio. I was in the front row so had a chance to be kissed quite afew times during the concert. A thrill of my life. He was a good sport about it, too.

Rhinestone Cowboy was one of his famous songs. I used to listen to his music decades ago. God rests his soul.

My sister and her husband are farmers in Missouri. They have a lot of land and on it is their personal family cemetery. All family members are buried there. My sister maintains it.

Thank you for sharing this one Steve, Glenn Campbell loved his voice and his songs still do, he was also a top guitarist as well. I love how he loved his Scottish roots and wore The Kilt many times, as a proud Scot myself and a wearer of The Kilt I am a great admirer of The Man. Billstown Arkansas was the home of Glen not Delight. Best I can remember Glens Dad was the first person buried at Campbell Cemetery. Glen either already owned the land or bought it after his Dad died and made it the Campbell Cem.They were from Billstown not Delight so thats why.

Another great video thank you for sharing your travels with us i would love to visit that town one day those older buildings you just don't see stuff like that anymore

Galveston got me hooked! I received that record as an Easter gift from my parents.

Glen was awesome! I like most of his songs, the True Grit theme song is probably my favorite. My mother was born and raised in West Texas and was a huge country fan and really loved Glen. My family watched his tv show, The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour.

I LOVE ❤ALL OF GLEN CAMPBELL SONG'S

I was a fan of Glenn Campbell's work on the "Wrecking Crew" as one of the greatest session musicians of all time and amazing guitar player. I was just a kid when he was at the height of his fame before drugs, alcohol, and multiple divorces took him downward. I was glad that he was able to survive all of that and come out through the other side to still perform and entertain for many years after Wichita Lineman is still haunting to listen to after all these years and is one of my favorites.

Watching this in Scotland :-) Great channel and I hope to see more :-)

I love Glen Campbell. My favorite song of his was a very obscure, country song called "I Love My Truck." Now, I love everything that he ever did, but I ran the needle through that one!

Thanks for posting this, Galveston and Southern Nights are my Glen Campbell favorites. I'm from rural Michigan and the unfortunate animal seen at the side of the road looks like a woodchuck a.k.a. groundhog. A possum is longer & thinner and usually has light or white color hair and a long, thin tail. I doubt many of either animal is seen in southern California.

My favorite song is Wichita Lineman also. But I do like most all of his other songs. He sure was a talented guitarist first and foremost, and of course his voice was so smooth. There is no other one like him. It's wonderful that he became a Christian later on in life. On another subject, Steve, I sure liked the fact that you videotaped driving around and looking at the little town and the other Cemetery too. It's so nice to see places like that and all the green grass and trees. It was completely enjoyable to watch your video. I look forward to your videos when they send a notification of new ones. I'll probably never get to those places, but now I can know and see what they are. Thank you so much!
