FAMOUS FOODS AT INDOMART | YOGYAKARTA
Indomarts are full of wonderful and strange foods we have never seen before. They are the equivalent to a 7/11 or a 4 square that we have in New Zealand. Trying different everyday foods you can buy there was so much fun!
We are Kiwi’s from New Zealand who quit our jobs to travel full time :) Join us on the journey!

Cheers! We wish we had the option of learning it in high school. Such a cool language! :D Where do you live now? Still in NZ?
Lama lama jdi wni ni bule 😄
Indomaret is just a store, small market. The supermarket in Indonesia for example are giant, transmart, hypermart, etc. From what I remember theres a transmart and giant in jogja
yes there are some supermarkets. Various brands.e.g. Bintang, Delta Dewata, Tiara and many others
Supermarket in Indonesia mostly inside a mall building, hard to find a standalone supermarket here. Some brands for your references the most common : Giant, Hypermart, Carrefour, Lotte, Hero and so on.
Hope you come back and make another vlog 🙌🏻
U must to try indomie goreng, luwak white coffe, teh botol
nikmati liburan di yogyakarta..matur nuwun🇲🇨❤👍🌟🌟🌟🙏
We have some modern nationally supermarket. They are usually in the mall, big mall. We have Transmart (belongs to Indonesian), Carrefour (belongs to Indonesia), Hypermart (from another country, I don't know where), Lottemart (from South Korea), Foodmart (from another country too), Giant (from another country), Tip Top, Super Indo, and so on. I live in Cirebon, West Java, and there are some local supermarkets here (supermarket which belongs to Indonesian) such as Yogya, Surya, and Fajar. There's no so much different of them. You can say for foreign brand, they have export stuff and variant fresh vegetable and food supply, and also more expensive. Not all local supermarket provides fresh food and vegetable because the society tends to go to traditonal market than supermarket. Btw, it is interestig if you have experience in traditional market. You can see the people, how they are interacted each other, and try some traditional food/desserts/traditional cake. Yogyakarta have lots of traditional food/dessert/traditional cake. Good luck! Indomaret and Alfamart are kind of mini supermarket. The average size of them are Indomaret Plus and Alfamidi, which are little bit more complete. 😁
Indomart is very helpful to get MOST of your stuff. We found Indomart in almost all the cities we visited. Thanks for showing the products that you guys bought and gave your opinion. I think the breads with chocolate cream is the best snack you can get in the Indomart. In Malaysia, are you guys going to Miri or Kota Kinabalu? Miri has the Borneo rainforest national park. Or are you guys sticking to Malacca peninsula?
i love your videos, every destination....so good
Try this: sego kucing .. 😁😁😁
Thanks U...from Kuwait 🇰🇼
After jogja ... I suggest yoy guys visit dieng plateu, second highest plateu after himalayan. You can google it for the picture of tourist area in dieng such as arjuna temple, sikidang crater, colorfull lake, silver lake, and you can see double sun rise , the first is the golden sunrise and the second is the silver sunrise. The highgest villages in indonesia also located in dieng. And if you lucky ,perhaps you guys can watch ceremonial hair cut for the children .
Sari roti coklat keju..... Yummmyyyyy
Welcome to Yogyakarta Indonesia :)
You should be try pecel, if you’re interested to eating pecel, you can look for in front of bringharjo traditional market(on malioboro street) I think, it has delicious taste ☺️☺️

Haha thought that would be the case, thank you. What about smaller towns with no mall? No big supermarket?
@lexuslexus15

@@itsmaxandkim in smaller towns, they might not have many options, they likely go to traditional market and convenience store like Indomaret/Alfamart and also local supermarket (not national brand) which is common in small towns. Glad you had a great time in Indonesia ;-)
@haqikbr

@@itsmaxandkim many are inside malls, but there are also supermarkets alone. In smaller towns, there is usually a local player. In Solo (a city in Central Java) and its neighboring smaller towns, there are supermarkets called "Luwes". In around Semarang, they have "ADA".
Have you visit solo, central java? 1 hour from jogja by train

You should take the basket to put the things..coz you just have two hands..😆😆😆
Good vlog 👍
Sosis? i usually use it on fried rice / Nasi Goreng, cut it slimly and mixed it with nasi goreng and continue to friend the nasi goreng. :D Pop Mie is cheap, fast. easy to make and practical, many gamers usually eat it, because it's fast and easy to make it, so they can continue gaming while they wait about 5 minute for it to be done , then after that they can eat it while gaming LOL
Good im from Indonesian hiii 😃😃😃😇😇 there in Yogya karta wow my house in there😁
u need to try local food like gudeg, mie jawa, even STMJ with pure milk
Aku jadi lapar nih
You must explore central Java ... You can find everything in there.... Good people, good destination and good food with low price
Indomaret and Alfamart are Mini markets its spread all regions
Yes, sedaap soto is so good. But sedaap white curry is even better. Best chocolate milk you can find in Indomaret is low fat frissian flag. Idk why the low fat variant tastes much better. S-tee alternatives are teh sosro and teh pucuk. They also have less sugar or even non sugar ones. You also need to try a cereal snack called oat choco.
Many subscribe from indonesia ,.. Kamu beruntung bro...
Ke kalimantan juga dong!!!
Come to Jakarta mates. Ping me. Will take you around here.
Nice bro, semoga sukses chanel nya bro, salam dari jakarta
Malioboro 👌😁
yang enak itu sosis maknyus itu ada rasa rendang , cabe hijau etc
Bear brand is the go to hangover cure 😋
Mantap 😘
Nice broo
Super market is Indonesian word for Alfamart, Indomart and any other convenient store. If you are looking super market (literally supermarket), ask them: dimana Carrefour/ Super Indo/Hypermart/Giant? those are the famous one. But if you are in Jakarta, check this out: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_supermarket_chains_in_Indonesia
