Thanks, Pastor, I was a catholic for many years, and the idea of the trinity always confused me and never made any sense to me. I remember not knowing who to pray to? I remember I would pray to the Father one day, to the Son the next day, and the Holy Spirit the next. It NEVER Made Sense to me... I Thank The LORD JESUS CHRIST for revealing that he is ONE! GBY

Philipians 2:5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

May I humbly submit: Each individual person has a mind, a body, and a soul/spirit made in the image of God. The three are required to be one complete "person," not three distinct persons. The mind can affect/communicate with the body, the spirit with the mind, and the body affect the mind and spirit, yet the three are one person which cannot exist without the three elements. This is what is meant "made in the image of God." "I and the Father are one," thus said Jesus. Jesus said the Father is greater than I, meaning the corruptible body at the moment he uttered the words was to die in this corrupted world, which he later overcame with a new incorruptible resurrected body, the promise for us all. Our material bodies, and all creation, came into being by the Word, and God physically, with an incorruptible body, walked in the Garden of Eden with Adam, and visited Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Yes, God is Mind, Body, and Spirit, One Person, One God. Amen.

❤ For God to have a body, entails He has a form or image. And to even imagine he has a body, is to go down the rabbit hole of committing the sin of idolatry. God is invisible says 1 Timothy 1:17. He is imageless. So, Jesus in the flesh is not God. Jesus himself said in John 4:24, *"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."* 🙏🏽

@@KononR-gz4vo oh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. //// I noticed you reference a verse out of context as many do and are deceived by that. Jesus speaks of the Father here in context. You limit God by the limits of your mind. Jesus refers to the Father. Jesus said the Father and I are one. If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Jesus is God. The Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. God is God. The flesh is flesh, yet God dwelt among us in the Flesh. The Son of Man is God made of the flesh of mankind to dwell with us.. Emanuel = God with us. I leave you with this in full context: The Word Became Flesh Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Joh 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. Joh 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. -Shalom

My family belonged to a tiny Oneness Pentecostal church in Summerville, Georgia back in the 1990’s. Our Parish was related to the LArGest Oneness awareness church I have Ever known of ….the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, led by Archbishop Earl Paulk! After Archbishop Paulk passed away, his Son and Daughter became part of the Greater Community Community, ditching evangelical Protestant teachings altogether and embracing much of Unitarian and Universalist theological teachings. Myself, I was raised Pentecostal but converted to Catholicism in 1995 and was a joyful Catholic for 30 years but became Unitarian Universalist during the Pandemic lockdown.

Irrelevant. Nescience (and it's still unfolding). The Apostle Peter, for example made head of the Church by Jesus, was 20 years in the Lord and STILL teaching Gentile Christians to perform OT Hebraic Judaism ordinances, until Paul openly rebuked and corrected him. Gal. Chs. 1 + 2 The things of God are only spiritually discerned, only revealed by the Father to those whom He wills to reveal them, "for so it seemed good in His Sight," and NEARLY no one gets it all. 'Christian' pride and its resultant arrogance, the haughty countenances as can be seen in so many, prevents it, even often turning God's Face away (Prov. 6:16-17a). God has ordained both the cessationist and the charismatic, the receptus vs. critical vs. majority text adherents, the Calvinist and the Arminian, etc., etc.,etc... ...needed tensions in the Church due to our hugely sinful arrogance. ("HA!," the intellectual will declare.)

The trinity is such a strawman for you, you dont actually care about what the early church fathers say considering they taught against your modelism. You cant use something like the trinity to prove a heresy. 1John5:5Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The didache I would dispute on interpolation and textual critical grounds. ignatius and Polycarp obviously never mention a trinity. Then you bring up a 3rd century example, where tertullian admits oneness is the majority even in his day, besides Tertullians later conversion to montanism.
