He was my Mom’s all time favorite singer’s. My Mom passed away in 89 when I was 12 and my brother was 8. When we heard that Kenny passed away my brother and I said finally Mommy can get a concert in Heaven from him. My brother and I know all his songs and reminds of our growing up. Thank you so much Jordan for this❤️❤️❤️

I was such a fan of his music growing up , incredible really so many big artists to compete with but Kenny just had that smooth all American guy look everybody loved him. That is a beautiful cemetery. I loved Kenny Rogers, and miss him and his music very much. At Christmas time I always spend time watching the Christmas special that He and Dolly Parton made together. The are only a few people whose voice can not be copied, like Karen Carpenter, I think Kenny's is one of the! Thank you, Jordan, a great vlog, I love it!!! 🌼

I was 15 when Kenny Rogers and the The First Edition came out with a ground breaking and the most psychedelic song I've ever heard. "Just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in ". This was kind of a game changer for us young long hairs. What a contrast with his later career in country. The common thread was how great he was regardless of the genre. Thank brother I'm getting caught up on my favorite shows.

Kenny's first major worldwide hit was 'Lucille' in 1977. My dad bought his album called 'Kenny Roger' in 1977 and I've always loved it. Kenny's singing on the track 'I wasn't man enough' is simply amazing and the best he's ever performed.

It is amazing how many hits Kenny Rogers was able to rack up in a long career in music. After a couple of rough starts, Rogers stuck with it until he hit it big as a solo country act. The smooth vocals and great crossover songs from country to pop make him a legend. It was said that Kenny was generally a nice guy. I remember when we were just kids, Kenny Rogers being all over radio before we got hooked into rock bands of the period like Journey, Styx, Rush, Cheap Trick, Tom Petty and more.... RIP Kenny Rogers.

Kenny Rogers was a great singer! I can remember my mom being a big fan of his and play his records when I was young. Plus, I am not sure if you remember Jordan, but back in 1980 until 1988 they had a TV show called Solid Gold that would have all types of music on the hour show. It was hosted by Dionne Warwick, Marilyn McCoo, and Andy Gibb as well. I am surprised that Ryan Seacrest has not tried to revamp the show yet because he is on the Top 40 Countdown and does the Dick Clark New Year's Eve show. Mr. Rogers was even on the show performing a lot of the music that he made to perform. I believe at Christmas time they would have a special on Solid Gold. Enjoy your vlogs and travels Jordan.

I'm surprised Kenny got buried at Oakland cemetery. I know he made Georgia his home but its becoming difficult to get a spot at Oakland. Only if you're from an old Georgia family or a prominent Georgia politician do you get a spot at Oakland now because space is limited. Kenny is Texas. New Georgia stock usually get buried at Westview cemetery which is considered the "new Oakland". Those of us that's Georgia rooted for many generations know what I'm talking about and I find it interesting Kenny got approved. May he rest in peace. He's a legend.
