In October of 1990, I just turned 27. I felt fine and went for my annual physical. I am a gay White man. My doctor informed me that I had "tested positive for he virus that causes AIDS " and haf 2-5 years left. Words can't describe how I felt......Im 60 now and look back in amazement. What a horrible, horrible time. God Bless ALL, RIP and remember with dignity those we lost, be good to all in these petty, tribalized times, "Live in the Light," and avoid the hate and darkness. ❤ from Jeff in NYC.

Poor Ryan White, just an innocent victim of the times. A child , just a child with a horrific illness. He and his family were tortured by this disease. He deserved so much more than he got out of life. He should be alive today. God bless you Ryan, may you rest in peace. 💔

You might want to re-evaluate your list to include the names mentioned by other commentators; there's no doubt you've missed some really big, influential names. Also, you might want to double check for accuracy that some of these individuals did in fact succumb to AIDS/HIV as the cause of death based on fact on not hearsay (I know of one on your list that was rumored to have died from AIDS/HIV but was never proven through records or other media).

Poor Kenny Everett! You didn’t even put his name let alone get his job right. Sure, he WAS a DJ, the DJ who first played Queens Bohemian Rhapsody on the air but he was much better known for his TV shows such as the Kenny Everett Television Show where he played many characters such as Sid Snot, Brother Lee Love and Marcel Wave And Cupid Stunt.
