Synopsis | Hail Mary (2010)
In 2010, Australia finally got its own fair dinkum saint when sister Mary MacKillop's was canonised in Rome. Among the thousands witnessing the event was a little girl who owes our newest Saint more than most. As a two-year-old, Sophie Delezio lost both feet and received terrible burns when a car crashed into her child care centre. Then two-and-a-half years later, she was hit by another car. All through those dark days, Sophie's parents Ron and Carolyn prayed to Mary MacKillop. They believe Saint Mary saved their little girl's life not once, but twice.
