This guy definitely needs to be hired on for more renovations. I wouldn’t even care if I knew that he broke in just to clean my house. He looks like he’s genuinely happy with what he does and that’s the kind of people we need. He takes his time doing it and he doesn’t let the filth bother him. Big respect for that.

Everyone has a left a key under a door mat, rock, inside a pot, etc. At some point or another, i don't do it habitually but if you know a guest is coming and you'll be gone during their arrival. Dropping a key off for that occasion doesn't seem as dangerous. That being said if you leave a key their permanently that's a problem.

Actually 3 years ago someone made that 911 phone call for real in my town. Just like this story a cleaning company found an open door and cleaned the wrong house. When the owner came and finds her spotless house she called the police. The TV station released the conversation she had with police dispatcher. Police, what's your emergency Lady, my house is clean!!! Police excuse me! Lady, someone broke my house and cleaned my house!! Police, is anything missing Lady, yes! a lot of dirt and dust with LAUGHTER!🤣

I’ve accidentally opened the wrong car door and the anxiety it causes is unbelievable. You think someone’s going to think you’re breaking into their car. I couldn’t imagine the anxiety that must’ve gone through him when he found out he was in the wrong apartment, LOL

Years ago a car like mine parked next to me while my friend was in the store. He got in the wrong car with a lady still sitting in it. They both had a look of horror on their faces. She was forgiving after realizing he meant to get in my car. We both laugh about it now.

I did that when i was 12, my parents car was parked beside one that looked identical to theirs, and i opened that cars door and realised inside the car were in fact not my parents but total strangers looking at me very confusedly. I slammed that car door and ran so fast into our car lmao

Could go either way. Don't have to as the service was never requested, but perhaps they did anyway or they hire him for the future. Either way, he's on TV so I'm sure he's busy as heck now

YES ma’am.. It could have ended in tragic. Imagine sitting at home and a stranger walks in and started cleaning. I would have grabbed something to protect myself with but started watching him clean for a minute. Really I would’ve. 😜

I swear only Inside Edition could piece this story together and get a face to face interview with the guy who did it AND the people in the wrong apartment in under a week. This level of production never fails to amaze me.

There was a tv show some years back---maybe in the early 2000's---where pretty much that kind of thing was done. The homeowners were "enthused" on camera, but many interviews revealed that they were not the least bit happy about it, and felt violated.

Gosh, leaving your key under the mat is one thing, but when it's an apartment complex and that's the only possible place you can hide a key under... kind of makes it easy for people to walk in anyway, don't need to look that hard. Good thing they only got a good surprise!

I guess it doesn't really make much of a difference if management and maintenance can automatically walk in anytime since they keep spare keys for every unit in the office lol.

@Darth551 they have a master key that works on every door. I hate the idea that someone can come into my place without me knowing, but luckily my bf is the maintenance supervisor at the apartments we live in so the only one that would be coming in is him.

His friend's apartment??? If they were friends, Louis would know which apartment his friend lives in.🤔 He's really lucky the strangers weren't upset. If the strangers had valuable things in their unit, they would not want a stranger in their unit even if it's to clean it. But, they also should not leave their key under a mat.

The funniest thing about this is he just thought his bud would have all this older married family's decor. "Wow, I didn't know my friend had such a nice hutch."

The guy must have a long lists of clients after this. People just begging him to break into their homes to clean. Was he paid for his services though?
