I love how each person in your family is , “spoiled” on their special day and how each child puts so much thought and even their own money into the gifts! Marc’s cake looked delicious!

Aww happy birthday! I love the card that said “if you want something write it here” and Marc asked for a coffee date with his daughter. That is just so beautiful. My sweet daddy has been gone from this earth for 12 years. The last three years of his life we sat on the porch swing and drank coffee in the morning together. Bird watching, chatting, sometimes enjoying the silence. The coffee date request just warmed my heart so very much. What a beautiful, generous, thoughtful family!

Yes, the kids do whine and cry sometimes. We usually talk them through it and things get better.

A tip from an amateur baker to Naomi: brazilian brigadeiro is the PERFECT filling for a cake. You can do the traditional chocolate, with fruit, pistachios. Honestly, the sky is the limit. It's super easy to make and tastes DELICIOUS.
