The Budi family dreamt of a haven - a place where their riverside plot of land would be transformed into a sanctuary for them. The father, with his two daughters, envisioned a life where quality time and connection were paramount. Butecco, the design team, stepped in to weave this dream into reality.
Their solution was a modern marvel that paid homage to its tropical Asian roots. Nearly 60% of the 375m2 plot was dedicated to nature, ensuring an openness that seamlessly blurred the lines between indoors and outdoors. The centerpiece of this philosophy was a large living room and kitchen area that spilled out into an open space teeming with trees and water. This became the heart of the villa, a space pulsating with life where the family could gather after long days, sharing stories and forging memories.
Privacy for the daughters was a priority, and each received their own haven in the form of bedrooms. Yet, these spaces weren't isolated cubes. A clever design ensured a sense of connection, fostering a feeling of togetherness even in their individual spaces. The living room, kitchen, and bedrooms were all thoughtfully linked by a verdant green garden. This wasn't just a garden; it was a living testament to the harmony between nature and humanity.
