Kind of a fun fact: Hartman was inspired by Josef Mengele. The Auschwitz’s butcher had a dark/satyrical sense of humor and he wasn’t a bright doctor after all. Also, Mr Herbert was inspired by the gays of SS who’s managed to escape. Boy, there was a lot o gays SS.

What’s funny is that he is usually pretty insensitive when dealing with patients which makes you think he isn’t a real doctor, then he has brief moments where he says something that’s actually medically relevant and reminds you that he is actually a doctor.
“Nurse who’s the worst doctor in this hospital?” “You are Dr. Hartman” “Good put Hartman on this bozo, Hey what can I do for ya” 😂😂😂
