We're 73 and .I've in Mississippi, putting in our 1st garden in a very humid zone , won't be huge , about 10x16 but will serve our needs Good Lord willing , your beautiful family has inspired me, thank you 😊🙏🙏♥️♥️⚘⚘⚘

You are very blessed to have the physical strength of your parents to help ! More blessed to have their knowledge! Remember that they also will need help from time to time !

Your garden is almost like your local grocery store. Once you get familiar with the landscape and where everything is, you’ll discover it takes less time. And in due time you’ll decide to expand once you have that down pat and established! Prayers for the start of a wonderful week!

My grandparents used to plant a garden every year that they were able. I have eaten many a fresh veggie out of their gardens. From tomatoes to potatoes. Both of my Grandmothers canned. God bless y’all and keep y’all always. ❤️🙏✌️

Many of us wishes our parents were still living. Appreciate your parents greatly, they are not replacable. Spend as much time as possible with them you will never regreat it.

You are so lucky to have your parents help y’all! That’s wisdom and knowledge that will continue on through the years with you when they are gone. I only have my Dad left and he’s no longer able to do much. Can’t wait to see all you are growing and how it all looks by Summer!

In the 50s into the 60s my dad put in a huge veggie garden. He grew everything, root veggies including beets, corn, peas, beans, tomatoes, lettuces...and sunflowers. My mom maintained the flower beds. There was always a surplus, so I would make up veggie baskets to sell to our neighbours without gardens. IMy neighbours knew the proceeds would go to me so I could go horseback riding. Not real set prices. They all appreciated fresh produce and I got to ride. ✌️♥️😊 I also washed cars for the same reason.

Korie!!! It’s looking really good!!! If you want the stumps to rot quickly……. This really works!! Beat up the stump with hatchet or something really sharp. Then pour a pint to a quart of buttermilk on the stump ( on a dry day of course ) and let sit. It will take a few weeks but it WILL rot enough to cut over it. I hope this helps. You and Austin and little Miss Olive are wonderfully sweet!! Mom, Dad and Katie are so precious!! I watch Mom’s channel also with every video!! I think you and Katie are so adorable!! It’s so nice that when the guys are bent over they don’t have plumbers crack. Maybe it’s just the chunky fellows that have that. I don’t know, but i would be very proud of them for that😂😅!
