Makes me wonder if he's referencing the episode of Hogan's Heroes, where his character (Newkirk) and Carter had to sneak into Klink's quarters to wind a closet full of cuckoo clocks. They had a real adventure getting back to the barracks. He took great pleasure in getting to blast them all with the fire hose later.

Even though Richard Dawson has left us too soon (June 3, 2012) from cancer, this is one of my favorite funniest clip from "Family Feud" we will never forget. Thanks for all the work you have done as a game show host, Richard!! We sure gonna miss you!! Rest in peace. Amen.

Oh gosh, I love watching this. His laughter makes me start laughing too. I agree, if the second contestant had said October(or any month), he would have had to quit. Anyone can get the giggles over something and you can clearly see he's trying his best to grim up to get through the bit but just can't. Just such an infectious laugh, miss him so much.

SirChubbyBunny -I live in Michigan. Snow in summer is actually possible. Michigan is known as the land of unpredictable weather, so if we had snow in the summer, it wouldn't be surprising.

Despite the first answer of "September", the first half of Fast Money still landed a pretty respectable total. The second half, however, you can tell that Dawson's problem reading the first clue threw the second person completely off of her game.

it's that time of the year again

despite the “september” answer, the 1st lady managed to still get a very respectable 92 points.

I've never seen the clip in its entirety, only the first part when Cathy answers, but Dawson following it up with being unable to ask the question is incredible!

Classic. Dawson was so professional on this show. Just goes to show that some things do hit us funny, and this was one of them for Richard. After a few minutes of just getting it out, he managed to turn it around.

*voice breaking* "Hold the clock" XD

This episode is the reason why Richard Dawson was the coolest man on Earth. That, and when the kid answered "A horse" for something that could turn out to be phony; Richard said "The dreaded phony horse gag!"

My vote for the funniest game show moment. I break out laughing every time!!

Family Fued the producers coach all contestants to keep a positive atmosphere and to tell their team members "good answer, good answer" no matter what they say - even if it is stupid as that keeps up the team spirit of the show. That is why they always say "good answer" to each other. I think it's really funny that at 6:18 when he reveals what the first girl said "September", she tries to play along and says "Good answer, good answer" while he just breaks character, turning to her and says "oh shut up!"

The other one I love is the show where the question was "Name something you take into a bath or shower other than soap and a washcloth" and a lady answered, "A duck"!!! He laughed about that too, until they revealed the answer, and there were 11 points!!!! He fell right on the floor!!!

I had just finished watching and recording this episode on GSN's Richard Dawson Tribute yesterday. I nearly lost it laughing so bad. Mr. Dawson, you will be missed without a shadow of a doubt!

This was by far the most epic Feud moment ever! I similarly lost it when another contestant on a different episode answered a question of "A toy with wheels" will a straight faced "Choo choo train!" Not train, but choo choo train!
