My mom used to get me Wedding Cake cookies when I was little for Christmas. For years I couldn’t remember what they were called. She passed away this year and I was thinking about them a couple months ago knowing now I couldn’t ask her what they were. The cookie you know as wedding cake cookie I know as Russian tea balls. I've been making them for over 40 years. My mother-in-law gave me the recipe, she got out of a newspaper, and she made them form many years. They are very good.

My favorite holiday treat are biscochitos they are Mexican shortbread cookies and they are amazing coming from a half Hispanic half white family means you like gingerbread and biscochitos because one grandma makes gingerbread and the your other grandma makes biscochitos . My favorite holiday treat is peppermint bark

Wedding cookies are called Κουραμπιέδες (Kourabiedes) in Greek and they are made with the exact recipe but we add almonds instead of pecans! We also have Melomakarona, they are a cookie like dough with walnuts, ground cinnamon and ground cloves and we soak them in a honey simple sirup! They are soooo delicious! Greetings from Greece!!

Normally for Christmas my Nonnie makes Russian tea cakes and they’re the wedding cake cookies your nana makes. Another thing we make are graham cracker squares which are delicious and have chocolate chips and powdered sugar on top

girl nextdoor get you a spatula (like the cupcake ones) that can go up to 450° you can find that at a Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart. You got this!!
