Best ad you could see for these beautiful Pitties. They really are that wonderful and intuitive and sensitive. So do yourself a favour, find one (or two!) in a shelter or elsewhere where they aren't having a full life and give them a loving home. You'll get your love and generosity back a thousand times.

Hmmm.... I just read of a girl who did exactly that. She "rescued" a Pitt from a shelter who had been a family dog dropped off by them. She loved dogs so much that she was a professional dog walker. Her boyfriend and a girlfriend were leary, but she said he simply needed to be trained with love and affection. One day, while accompanying her on a nice walk with these other dogs as usual, (he was unleashed) he very suddenly, out of the blue, tuned on her and mauled her to death ??

How lucky he is to be a member of your family and how lucky your family is that he is a family member. He’s adorable. ❤️

What a stunning looking dog, I think he thinks he’s a human. I think there’s nothing better than seeing a tough looking man being silly and playing with his dog. Hoping Mavy is around for many many more years giving everyone such unconditional love

I was walking my dog last week when a Pitty that looked like Mavy came tearing across the open field towards me and my recuse dog. He was making velociraptor sounds! I must admit, I was alarmed and prepared for the worst case scenario but OMG, I was in love with this guy within 30 seconds. My grumpy/bossy dog loved him. His owner came running up apologizing but explained: 'He loves everybody!' After only a minute, I could see why. I REALLY wanted to take him home with me!!! I havent stopped thinking about him!❤

Thankfully you were understanding but unfortunately it was very irresponsible of the owner to let their bully run like that. The interaction that you described is not well received by many people, and it only adds to the "terror" factor of the breed. These poor dogs have a enough negativity already from the haters, and letting a pit roam and charge at other dogs is inexcusable no matter how much the owners apologize.

What a handsome boy. When dog appear to have a ability to tell time it is kinda like that. When the smell disappears at a certain rate dogs can smell when the kids or owners come home at a particular disputation of sent . Amazing. Nice work. Such a amazing family.

Love this video! and i want to add... the staff breeds are soo soooo misunderstood. once u seen the love they give its realy another world. i have staffordshire bull terriers myself and its the same they just fit in however they need to. They may look tough, but I’ve never met a pittie that wasn’t a sweet, loving, goofball. I recently adopted a 2-3yr old male pit from our local shelter & he didn’t know anything about being a dog & only knew Spanish but his disposition was beautiful. He learned super fast & is loving life as a valued family member as they all should ❤️

I've met a mean one once.... He actively, aggressively chased me through the woods until I made it home. Eventually, one of the neighboor's mastiffs caught him growling unprovoked at my niece when she walked out the door. I don't think that pitbull lived after that mastiff attacked him.... I noticed that the neighbors weren't fond of him whatsoever. I should mention for that one mean boy I've met many, many more that were beyond sweet. He was a very surreal outlier that reminded me to be careful when walking outside. It's sad and I still feel bad for him.

I always say you love all of your animals, your pets are your furry kids, and if not, they should be! However, there is that one dog or cat that will never be replaced, they are a once-in-a-lifetime pet that will hold a special place in your heart for as long as you live, and Mavy is that dog. We ended up with the most amazing cat in a similar way. We'd told the rescue group that we were looking for a bonded pair, and we wanted one of them to be a snuggly, affectionate cat. They picked our cat, Ketsl, for us, but his sister was part of the "package deal," so to speak. She turned out to be the smartest, happiest, most adventurous, most interesting, most curious (and tiniest) cat we've ever met. Ketsl is indeed a cuddle bug, but Chuti is an adventure.

Here’s a silly tip: when your pet has a favorite toy (like this yellow ball), always make sure you have a couple of extra ones of it. Use them all (not at once of course) to get his scent on all and then save all but one, in case of an emergency!!

A good friend of mine Robbie that has since passed. He had a pittie named baby girl that looked exactly like Mav and acted a lot like em too. She was definitely a comfort animal to so so many of Robbie's friends especially me, I called her my lil hippopotamus lol. Seeing this just brought all that back☺😌😔😪

It's funny, when the narrator talks about her dog's memory about small details and schedules. Mine knows the difference between walk time outfits and work time outfits. He gets excited when I go inside the work out clothing drawer and doesn't react when I go into my work clothes drawer. That's actually pretty impressive.

Our 3 leg pitty KNOWS what alert signals that someone is home! She doesn’t know if it’s the kids or her daddy so she runs from the front to the back checking each door/window! She has actually chewed herself a hole in the front window blinds the exact size of her face so she can look out! Bully breeds are the best dogs you could have. They're so intelligent and perceptive. So loving and loyal. So playful and cuddly. Friendly and full of happiness. My boy loves his yellow balls too and hes afraid of plastic bags blowing in the wind and will run away too until he realizes what it is. Literally the best dogs.

What a wondrful dog! All Bully breeds are so talkative and also copy their human companions and their famliies. These breeds have a special Bully heart. I used to breed American Bulldogs in Germany and they were the BEST dogs I have ever had.

I've noticed the Pitbull breeds especially have that funny habit of running up to you with a toy as a greeting, but they're not looking for a game of fetch or tug of war like other breeds, they bring you their favourite thing in the world to show off and almost gloat.
