This whole segment of songs and memories is making me cry. I've been rewatching the entire series of FAME during the pandemic. It was such an inspiration as a kid growing up in the 80s and still gives so much hope to everyone, even now. During this horrible time of losing so many loved ones during COVID times, being locked down, losing so much of normal life, it's good to see this. So glad we have it all to relive and enjoy now. FAME will live on forever.

I really loved this show growing up in the 80’s. I recently found out what became of Gene Anthony Ray and it really broke my heart. He was my favorite dancer. He was so talented. May he Rest In Peace. I feel fortunate to have seen the Kids from Fame at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Tx. Unfortunately, Debbie Allen and Gene Anthony Ray weren’t there. I did get to see Carlo Imperato and Lee Curreri. I’m thankful for inspirational movies and shows like Fame❤💔😢

This was so good. So many memories. Actually made me tear up. RIP Gene Anthony Ray.

I was there, this was an amazing moment when the dancers joined the cast and Debbie sang - not a dry eye in the house, we all cried with her.

bisp25 Yes Billy Hufsey was there along with Debbie Allen, Jesse Borrego, Lee Curreri, Cynthia Gibb, Erica Gimpel, Carlo Imperato, Valerie Landsburg and PR Paul. Dancers Eartha, Bronwyn, Kim & Melissa were also there with William Goldstein (composer) Maureen Crowe (music coordinator) and Oren Waters backing singer. Carol and Nia sent letters which Erica read out. The next Fame Reunion will be in the U.K. May 3rd to 6th 2019.

I think of Mr. Crandall's character in the show when I hear the song.

I'm in tears watching this....it's my childhood summed up. These people were like my family every Thursday on NBC, teaching me to sing and dance, live and love.
