This song brings back so many fun memories: I was in a professional singing group in the late 80s and we had so much fun performing this song (along with "We Got the Power" and "Sing for You America").

@@TheWannabeatles Thank you for writing back--I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been sick a lot (was in the hospital over Christmas) and got behind on a lot of things. Do you remember Up With People? Our group was formed out of that. There were a few in Michigan (and all over the country) and I was in Sing Out Kalamazoo. We did really youth-oriented, fun music with lots of choreography. We'd have one Big Show and then smaller performances throughout the year. It was so much fun. I remember one summer day we had three different outdoor shows in that one day. I'm a redhead and I didn't think to bring sunscreen and I got sun poisoning. I miss doing that kind of stuff so much. What are you doing now?

Well since he has been performing basically nonstop since he was barely out of diapers, maybe he is glad for the rest. You forget that while people enjoy artists' performances, for them it is work, hard, demanding, soul damaging work, and money doesn't make up for that. That is why it is major child abuse for parents to push their children into performing and keep them there, which has happened, for example, to one family group after another, the Cowsills, the Osmonds, the Jackson 5, the Lennon Sisters, and on and on.

It is amazing but I remember this episode. In the album the song was sang by CARLO Imperato.
