Synths are cool, but these robots are like built for war compared to synths. If the calculator won, no faction would've won, not even the enclave could beat that or the master gg until the batteries die

Vault-Tec saved up to 61,000 people (500 people per vault x 122 vaults) from nuclear annihilation and created the GECK, which allowed Vault City, a founding member of the New California Republic (NCR), and Project Purity to come into being. Without Vault-Tec there would have been no uncorrupted DNA in the wasteland, which means no Generation 3 Synths.

I imagine most of the tanks and whatnot would’ve been used and destroyed within maybe 50 years after the bombs fell. There wouldn’t be an easy way to get replacement parts, ammunition or military grade fuel. And most of the people that knew how to operate them would’ve probably died during the resource wars.

@@jamalbacon7759 Most military equipment, whether it's an M4 Sherman from WW2 or an HMMWV from the GWOT, the design philosophy is the same. They're made to be used by the dumbest people in society, because those are the bread and butter of the military. The M4 Sherman in particular was designed so that even a farmboy who had never seen life outside his family farm would be able to easily understand and use the equipment. The people in the Fallout Universe are every bit as intelligent as we are.

If the Calculator was in Fallout 4 it would've picked the Commonwealth clean of life.

@@eXpriest well the thing with tactics is that it is technically non-canon. So it could be possible that if bethesda ever did make a new fallout game than they could add old factions to it from older games.

Makes me feel... sad?! This machine... Calculator... it had it's own battle, tried to break the vicious cycle, change everything... change the War. Shame they decided to scrap Tactics out of the lore, cuz it had so much more sence that way

Hey Chicago finally got better

I love the Calculator but please, Please do not waste the Cheyenne Bunker on it, I can’t have NORAD just be a brotherhood base, Have the calculator anywhere else just not there.

​@@ishaqedrees5849in Texas vault tec made a vault filled with the brains of politicians and after sometime the politicians decided to make a robot army and conquer the Texas and Midwest wasteland. It was interesting but no longer canon. Hopefully Bethesda will make a 3D fallout with this theme.

​@@woddlyoatsyou have gotten fallout Brotherhood of Steel and fallout tactics mixed up so badly it's unbelievable Vault 0 home to the calculator is in Colorado in fallout tactics The vault full of Vault tech executives is in Texas The calculator was meant to reclaim the wastes but suffered a malfunction during a super mutant raid causing it to attack everyone
