Also, the X-01 specifically, while rare, isn't exclusive to the Enclave. It was the pre-war prototype to the Advanced Power Armor, the latter of which was utilized by the Enclave in *Fallout 2,* and a couple members of the Mojave Remnants in *New Vegas.* That said, a few sets of the X-01 prototypes remain scattered around the wasteland, like the one on display in the Galactic Zone at Nuka-World.

Moten got to wear it, at least once when Lucy let him out under the bridge, when Thaddeus stole the fusion core. You see a full body shot of him in the suit with the mask lifted. Edit: I looked it up and Aaron Moten said in an interview that wearing the armor sucks and he would be exhausted after filming when he had to wear it. So he did wear it occasionally, he just didn't like the experience of walking in it so he was happy they hired a guy to do stuff like fight scenes and running. The only time he wore it is in scenes where you see the mask lifted.

The update adding the hellfire armor is a bit broken, being able to find such strong full suits so early never used to be thus easy

The T-60 power armour was the latest made by West Tech butT-60 wasnt the latest model ever made in the Fallout franchise, it was the X02 power armour, made by the Enclave.

Yes, but it was developed in secret before the war by the US government, aka the Enclave. It is Enclave MK1 Power Armor. X-02 would be MK2 power armor, which would be the armor you see most wearing in fallout 3 and NV, and X-03 would be the hellfire power armor.

@Bruh1 The armor belonged to the brotherhood, and Maximus was part of the brotherhood. If in the military, a fellow soldier dies, and you pick up his gun and start using it. That's not stealing. Because it is owned by the military. Same goes for the power armor. It wasn't owned by Titus but rather the brotherhood. It was his armor while he was alive but ownership did not belong to him. You're right. I'm some cases taking something from the dead is stealing but this case doesn't follow that.

I understand your point but you have to look at it from the perspective of what does our movie culture rely on? Cgi, practical effects have become an afterthought for a lot of these movies and shows, so their priority isn't to make the practical effects feel real which was a main focus for movies like the original jurassic park which they prioritized the practical to create an authentic reality. Now I don't think the power armor is bad in the show considering you can't have it weighs a few tons like the real armor because the actor needs to be able to breathe/ move and trying to walk when your feet are weighed down by like 60 pounds of metal. I personally think shows and movies should return to the practical effects because it just made everything feel real.

Its funny to know how old that armor is in the lore, this is like a knight from the midevil dark ages, finding and wearing roman empire centurion armor

That's more accurate than you realize. A suit of the best Roman armor would have been superior to anything made until late in the medieval period, just like the T-60 would be better than any wasteland armor.

Considering a standard Rifle rated Ballistic steel chest plate weighs fifteen pounds alone, and is barely any bigger than a typical dinner plate; a full body suit of Ballistic rated steel armour would weigh in at nearly three or four hundred pounds, (or more) and that is before adding a way of making it articulable to a human body.

Glad they did that instead of mo-cap. Looks so much better than digital would have with the Fallout aesthetic.

It was obvious that they were using practical effects for the armor. And honestly, it looks awesome.

Not a correction, but filling in omission... there were several different t60 builders made by high skill cosplayers that were used in the series. Same goes for all other sorts of set items and props in the series like nosleeptillcosplay had their assaultron cosplay featured as the destroyed assaultron in the sand.

That show simply is exactly what we needed
