"Fucking Vault Dwellers" 😂 okay. I'm sold.

I only watched the last 3 episodes and I can’t wait to watch the next season in full. I’m looking forward to the possibility of New Vegas or Fallout 4 inclusion.

I don’t think people were divided on Twisted Metal or The Last of Us. Were they? I watched both and the big criticism for Twisted metal for me is that they didn’t have enough actual car combat or racing but it seems next season there will be. But for both I don’t remember there being too much negative

Divided is a bit of a reach on my part. Twisted Metal has a 67% on RottenTomatoes and a very positive rating via fan score. The Last of Us was well received but I’ve seen fans not happy with it (anecdotal and the fans aren’t happy with most of the games anyway).

It was fricking awesome! Gave me a big vibes of Silo the Apple TV + series. Which was just as good or better than fallout

That’s hilarious! That’s exactly what I said. I was like, “makes me look at Silo slightly differently!” I am very excited for season two though (Silo was great)

I am shocked by how much good praise there has been for this show. Kinda crazy we finally know how to make good video game movies.😂

Look I've played the games a little bit I've even played the roleplaying game with friends but I wouldn't say I'm a fan I came into the series in a middle ground. If I was asked to describe it in one sentence it's a spaghetti western from the surrealistic setting to the strange side characters and bloody gory but cartoonish violence. It's Goggin's series he is head and shoulders the single most interesting character and drives the major and more interesting of the two story lines while Lucy is more of a catalyst not that she doesn't have some good moments but hells teeth she is annoying in the first three episodes but by the end she has developed into an intersting character. Then alas there is poor Maximus who has been done dirty by the writing and directing he stagger through the show most of the time acting like he's concussed the sad thing is the few times he was given some room to flex his acting talents were fun but in truth you could of cut his whole arc out of the series and lost not much. I'm looking forward to another season because I rather enjoyed this one

Two episodes in, I'm enjoying it.

Never played the games, the series was a bit too campy for my taste. But I can see the quality and thought put into it. I think if it took itself a bit more seriously, I'd love it.

The games are camp. I’d assume you probably wouldn’t enjoy the games, either. The subject material is quite serious and layered. Just had a different way of dealing with it .

I was a Fallout fan for years and I absolutely loved the show! Season 2 can't come soon enough!

"Honestly, fans of the series will enjoy watching this, unless you're looking for a reason not to." I've had that accusation made against me a few times since only rating the show a 6/10, and it's not true in the least. I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. The sets and props were very good. I thought the actors all did well with the characters and dialogue they were given... but I thought the characters were mediocrely written and I didn't like any of them. I thought Matt Berry NAILED the Mister Handy dialogue. The plot... after the first couple episodes, it was absolute nonsense... which is largely the incoherent-mess-masquerading-as-a-story I've come to expect from Nolan, but I went into it with optimism. The attempts at humor largely fell flat. For me, the good bits weren't good enough to offset the weak script and dialogue. Not godawful, but also not a delight. Just sayin'. YMMV.

This is completely fair. My lobbied generalized comment is just that. Mainly at the fans who wanted to see X or Y. Everyone is entirely entitled to their opinion and the show is far from perfect. I appreciate your comment and constructively sharing it as well. My perspective is just that, my own.

They really do be killing the entire fallout new vegas canon with this show though.
