    Yeah that was honestly one of the most impactful things I’ve seen in a show recently. There’s something so hauntingly realistic about it. You’re right, it’s the denial aspect. Only for the show to reveal that no…it’s far worse than that and there’s nothing to be done but accept it.

    Honestly that made it extremely unrealistic. It was already weird how she wasn’t blinded from seeing the initial reaction but I don’t like how long it took for them to see it wasn’t smoke. The fireball from a nuclear blast forms in one millionth of a second and expands at 300+mph every second. He responded about 30-33 seconds after the initial blast and said “that’s just smoke” but at this point in time during the nuclear reaction, the fireball would have reached its maximum size. If you look up castle bravo, the largest us nuke ever tested, you can see the fireball expands to 800 feet in 0.32 seconds. Thats 2,437 feet a second. Assuming the world ending nukes from fallout are around the same size, this means that the entire reaction and for the nuclear blast wave to hit them which is moving at 700+ mph would take around 6 seconds

    🪭THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world" (Because the Lord Jesus incarnate did the work of the Age of Grace, for 2,000 years, all of Christianity referred the one true God as the "trinity." Therefore, the religious identifies, the one true God as the trinity, separate Him, throughout time. The world of religion cherishes strictly to it and refuses to change at all times. Now, the Almighty God of the last days has come to do the work of judgment, revealing all the means that save humanity. He completely dispute the greatest error of Christianity---the trinity. If God didn't expose this lie directly, we would not discover the foolishness within the idea of the trinity. Almighty God says, "if any one of you says that the trinity really exists, then explain what exactly this one God in three persons is? What is the Holy Father? What is the Son? What is the Holy One? Spirit? Is Jehovah the Holy Father? Is Jesus the Son? So what about the Holy Spirit? 'There is only One God, only One person in this God, and only One Spirit of God, as it is written in the Bible that there is only One Holy Spirit and only One God.' In simple words, God is the Spirit, but He can be flesh and live with people, as well as above all things. His Spirit is all and everywhere. He can be in the flesh and above the universe at the same time. Don't you know Jesus was born through the conception of the Holy Spirit? Inside Him is the Holy Spirit; no matter what you say, He is still God in heaven, because He is the incarnation of God Spirit. This idea of a child is simply not true.) Almighty God said Because the LORD JESUS INCARNATE did the WORK of the AGE of GRACE, for 2,000 YEARS, ALL of CHRISTIANITY REFERRED to the ONE TRUE GOD as the "Trinity." Because the BIBLE MENTIONS the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT, they PROMOTE that GOD must be a TRINITY. ☀️ There was some debate, but most people stuck to the idea of the Trinity without any change. Some people say "Trinity," and others say "Three in One," which are essentially the same, and mean the same thing. Whether we say "Trinity" or "Three in One," it says that God is made up of three parts, They are not the one God. Only when they are together can they become one true God. It's just a ridiculous thing to say. Can you really say that Jehovah God is not the only true God? Or is the Lord Jesus not the only true God? Is NOT the HOLY SPIRIT the ONE TRUE GOD? 🙏 Is NOT this CONCEPT of the TRINITY a REJECTION and DESTRUCTION of the ONE TRUE GOD? Isn't the one true God being carved up and blasphemed? We can see how crazy this idea of the Trinity is. THEREFORE, the RELIGIOUS WORLD IDENTIFIES the ONE TRUE GOD as the TRINITY, SEPARATE Him THROUGHOUT TIME. It is very painful for God. 😢 The WORLD of RELIGION CHERISHES STRICTLY to it and REFUSES to change at ALL TIMES. NOW, the ALMIGHTY GOD of the LAST DAYS has COME to DO the WORK of JUDGMENT, REVEALING ALL the MEANS that SAVE HUMANITY. He COMPLETELY DISPUTE the GREATEST ERROR of CHRISTIANITY---the TRINITY. 🙏 It OPENED our EYES and we PRAISED CHRIST from our HEARTS as the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, and PRAISED. WISDOM and MIGHTY in ALL GOD. 🙏 If GOD DIDN'T EXPOSE this LIE DIRECTLY, we WOULD NOT DISCOVER the FOOLISHNESS WITHIN the IDEA of the TRINITY. ☀️ Let's take a closer look at this by reading some of God's words. ALMIGHTY GOD says, "If ANY ONE of YOU SAYS that the TRINITY REALLY EXISTS, then EXPLAIN what EXACTLY this ONE GOD in THREE PERSONS is.. WHAT is the HOLY FATHER? What is the Son? What is the Holy One?" Spirit? ☀️ Is JEHOVAH the HOLY FATHER? Is JESUS the SON? So WHAT ABOUT the HOLY SPIRIT? Isn't the WORK of JESUS the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT? ISN'T JEHOVAH'S WORK DONE by a SPIRIT SIMILAR to JESUS's? How many Spirits can God have? According to your explanation, the three persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one; So, then, there are three Spirits, but the existence of three Spirits means that there are three Gods. That is, there is no one true God; how can this kind of God still have the natural essence of God? ☀️ If you accept that there is only one God, then how can He have a son and be a father? Aren't these all just your notions? 'THERE is ONLY ONE GOD, ONLY ONE PERSON in this GOD, and ONLY ONE SPIRIT of GOD, as it is WRITTEN in the BIBLE that there is ONLY ONE HOLY SPIRIT and ONLY ONE GOD.' 🙏 Regardless of when the Father and the Son you say existed, there is only one God after all, and the spirit of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit that you believe in is the spirit of the Holy Spirit. In SIMPLE WORDS, GOD is the SPIRIT, BUT He can be FLESH and LIVE with PEOPLE, as WELL as ABOVE ALL THINGS. His SPIRIT is ALL and EVERYWHERE. He CAN be in the FLESH and ABOVE the UNIVERSE at the SAME TIME. 🙏 everyone says that God is the only true God, then there is only one God, who is not divided by anyone! He became three persons, each with a status and a Spirit; then how can He still be a Spirit and a God? Tell Me, was heaven and earth, and all things created by the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit? say that They created it all together. Then who redeemed mankind? @brianu2229

    Also, there's an in-universe reason why the nukes' explosions were so small: the world of Fallout is basically a world in which miniaturization never happened. Remember those huge room-sized computers from back in the 50's with the tape decks that had less processing power than your smartphone? In the Fallout universe, those never got smaller and not much more efficient over time like they did in our world. Nuclear tech would likely be the same, with the biggest warheads they could fit to an ICBM being much less powerful than the ones in our world, hence why they needed like a dozen of them to destroy L.A.

  • @averagemug_music

    @@brianu2229 I'm pretty sure it's just because it looks cool, realistically the Earth wouldn't survive that many nukes dropped at all. But this would be a pretty decent explanation. • @brianu2229

    @brianu2229

    @@averagemug_music Yeah I think we have to take it as a given that in this universe, the bombs themselves were less powerful but radiation much longer-lasting; maybe due to a different kind of nuclear material. And the number of nukes used here isn't out of the ordinary in-universe; Mr. House in New Vegas mentions that 77 atomic warheads targeted Las Vegas and its surrounding area, which in real life would have been absurdly overkill.

    2:19 I love this shot. Throughout the opening we see the hosts of the party trying to drown out any and all info related to the events going on in the real world. Turning off the radio, telling guests not to ruin the part by bringing up the outside world, and switching the tv to a cartoon show for the kids. Then the nuke goes off. I won't go into spoilers for episode 8 but even before the events in that episode its been made clear already at the party that Cooper isn't ignoring the events of the real world. He's here to make the homeowners child happy for his birthday and leaves, even going as far as to refuse to do his thumbs up as he feels its in poor taste given the events of the world. Then we see the scene, Cooper and his daughter see the bombs drop while the rest of the party remains ignorant. this shot demonstrates this scene so well its haunting. Cooper and his daughter seeing the world ending while the other party guests remain completely oblivious to the fact the world is ending until the shockwave hits.

Is it the Holy Spirit, the Son, or the Father? Some say that the Son redeemed mankind. So who is the Son essentially? Is He NOT the INCARNATION of GOD'S SPIRIT? The incarnation calls God in heaven by the name of the Father from the perspective of a created man. DON'T YOU KNOW JESUS was BORN THROUGH the CONCEPTION of the HOLY SPIRIT? ☀️ INSIDE Him is the HOLY SPIRIT; no matter what you say, He is STILL GOD in HEAVEN, BECAUSE He is the INCARNATION of GOD'S SPIRIT. ☀️ This IDEA of a CHILD is SIMPLY NOT TRUE. 😪 It is a Spirit that does all the work; only God Himself, that is, the Spirit of God does His work. The goosebumps and the cold wash of dread I got when I hit this scene was immeasurable. Watching the shockwave cover the city, the smoke starting to turn orange with heat as the mushroom cloud comes into view, the fact they had zero warning, the muffled sound of everyone talking and screaming and arguing from the blast making windows shatter and ears ring, the three extra bombs dropped on the way down the road... the fucking pan shot man. If fallout 2024 was this scene alone i would have given them all my money. Earning that damn paycheck.

    The fact that you can hear the faint "BOOOMS" (like a "thump" sound exactly at the beginning in 0:24) on the background along with the quick flashes that can be confused with the cameras flashes and sound while taking a photo is kinda scary, because they didn't realize it until it was too late.

    @@mikethespike056 I might not be 100% right here, but to me some of the flashes and noises are clearly from the camera with the guy taking pictures inside the living room, but the father and the kid are outside and the camera guy is inside a closed room, so the ones outsite couldn't (and shouldn't) hear the camera noises clearly, and that is not even considering the noise of the kids watching TV in the living room and the women talking to each other that would also muffle the noise of the camera (those types of cameras are noisy for sure, but not that noisy nor their shutters or flash make a "thump" sound, it's more like the "kerrrchak" we actually hear here), also the flashes wouldn't properly reach them, except a few moments when the flashes actually do, maybe when the camera dude are taking photos facing outside the room. You can hear faint "THUMPS" on the background sometimes that seems like the crew cleverly timed along with the guy taking the pictures and the camera noises, giving the impression that's just the camera working, but again, those two are outside and there's a lot of noise inside the living room to muffle the camera's sound, and some of the quick flashes are appearing on the front of the dad's face coming from the direction of the cities in the distance (the ones that are further away than the one they are and the vicinity), instead of from behind where the camera dude was. Remember that these are atomic nukes, the flash is nothing but a quick moment and you can hear their explosion from VERY FAR, even if you can't see the explosion itself. "Oh but the kid sees a flash that takes ages to fade when one of the bombs hit the city next to them!", yes of course, but it's a slow motion scene, obviously that the flash would take longer to fade.

  • @xtuffman

    @xtuffman

    3 ай бұрын

    @@mikethespike056 to me the faint "thumps" are nukes being detonated from really far away, because the sound of the camera shutter and flash that the guy inside the room is using is more like a "kerrrrchak" than a thump, besides there are a lot of kids in the room watching TV and making noise, so the camera sound would be somewhat muffled to the kid and dad outside to hear it clearly.

His face from 2:15 onwards gradually shifting to one of total horror as he realizes that, yes, this is actually happening, the world is beginning to end, elevates this whole scene to another level entirely. Absolutely haunting. 2:20 is an amazing shot as well. The American Dream in the foreground with these families completely unaware of what's happening, while the man and girl watch on in the background as they realize it was all exactly that: a dream. And framed perfectly between all that, the mushroom cloud. The first of many.

Many have the point that it would be hard to survive a blast if you are anywhere close just because the yield's would be much more in megatons compared to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. So, if you are lucky enough to be far away to see it blow, and you didn't actually see it go off at first thus saving your eyesight from permanent welder's blindness, your chances are higher than from the first couple of decades of these things being used. @@killianoconnor6294 I doubt those mini nukes would be powerful enough to overcharge battery. Back then we didn't minimized everything and adding small size nuke there probably wouldn't be any effect on cars. EMP wouldn't kill battery, it kills electronic because you overcharge small circuits that are usually in todays modern processors and so on, because they are small and easy to burn, car battery on the other hand and old alternator had dozen of times more current on everyday use than any emp bomb ever was be able to output Also nuke doesn't do much emp effect unless detonated in the sky because that energy just turns to more heat.
