My quess is Max put his points in strength, perception and agility. Lucy went with perception and luck and charisma. Both start out around level 20-25. The ghoul is a max level vats and something build. Norm is intelligence, stealth and small frame.

The desert and abandoned building scenes were filmed on location in Namibia. There’s an abandoned old German mining town that didn’t require a lot of prep to get these wasteland scenes.

Love him, especially the reference to his past life as a vet and his knowledge of power armor, dont wanna be specific because of spoilers but holy shit that scene was great.

I liked the nod to the game when Lucy keeps her gun aimed at the person she is in conversation with. That happens frequently in especially fallout 4 cause it takes a while to enter the conversation mode.

@@ducksauce9187 the thing is if you watch her it looks like she isn't even aware she is pointing the gun at him, only realizing it after a while. Something that can definitely happen in-game. You can even accidentally exit conversation mode and start pointing your gun at the npc and accidentally shoot them while they are still talking to you.

When Maximus drops his gun during the fight in Philly it's actually because the Ghoul shot it out of his hand. Took me several watches to see that's what happened and that he didn't just drop it like a dip shit.

The turret missing them both is a game reference, those machine gun turrets have stormtrooper level aim 😂😂

I'm an American and this has nothing to do with your reaction right now, even though I love you guys. I didn't really know where else I could comment and I know you guys are Canadians. I recently started watching more things about your country. The Gander airport during 9/11 was one of the first and then the Terry Fox documentary. I just wanted to say ,even though you may never see this, you guys your country is so amazing. From what I remember in episode 1, I think Lucy has tags in Repair, Small Guns and Unarmed, and high Intelligence and Agility. Charisma is not low either. Oh and high karma, of course.

Did you guys ever watch Justified? You would dig that show. The ghoul in this is in it. It's a badass show.

Not quite. Potassium has a bitter metallic taste. Cyanide has a caustic almond taste (as described by those able to speak before it killed them). What gives bananas their distinctive flavor is a chemical called isoamyl acetate.

Apparently, Maximus letting Titus bleed out was supposed to be some dark moral turn... but I genuinely don't see how. The man tried to use him as live bait to score an easy kill. The implication is that he has done this before. He was threatening to have Maximus punished/executed for his incompetence. Maximus helping him would have basically been self-deletion!

The town Filly gave me vibes from Fallout 3 and Megaton. I think that is what you guys may have been thinking about.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but the weird guy who had a lot of family die in Filly is a reference to a weird glitch that happens in FO76, where a character's arms and legs are too long and they just look out of proportion. I don't know exactly who is affected in the game with this glitch as I gave up on playing that game pretty fast, but I think it's pretty awesome that the showrunners are so dedicated to the games that they even referenced this bit of Bethesda weirdness :)

Should a repurposed sawn-off large-bore pistol-gripped revolver (that was clearly a rifle of some sort in its original form) still be called a rifle? In any case, you're probably right. Been playing F3 since the show came out, and the Perks system here's very different from F4 -- pistols, shotguns, and rifles all fall under the Small Guns skill in F3.

@@alcor4670 Yeah, I can't actually remember the details of Fallout 3. I'd like to play it and New Vegas again, but I'll have to repurchase them because nothing's back compatible with PS3 discs! In any case, I hadn't even noticed all those 'no longer strictly a rifle' modifications you mentioned... I only really clocked that tell-tale trigger guard thingy that the lever-action rifles have. Also, the sound design heavily evokes a longer barrel, but that's probably just for the effect of having it sound more devastating.

Bethesda or even the original creators have never said they were extinct and the games never say they are extinct. Iguana being extinct is just some assumption that a guy in Reddit thought up and spread recently. That person assumed so because there are vendors in fallout one and two that sell human meats and calls them iguana but actual iguana meats do still exist.

One thing I've found watching this series is that, if you think there's a flaw in the show, it's nearly always explained later, or something you didn't notice. Without going into spoiler territory, it's made very clear later that the Commonwealth Brotherhood has fallen a *long* way in quality since Fallout 4. Also the east coast brotherhood is much more...strict...shall we say, when it comes to obedience. To me it makes sense that Titus is a bit of a cowardly moron, and doesn't even consider the idea that a squire would disobey him, no matter what he did or said

No it’s not. Yaoguai is Chinese for Yao creature and guai weird. They were named by the Chinese internment prisoners in the US. Glad it makes you think of Yogi Bear but I doubt Hannah Barberra exists in this alternate retro future.

He's written for people to be skeptical of him and then slowly warm up to him. But people can't deal with unclear characters, so instead they typically jump to disliking him and stick with it, instesd of appreciating his character growth.

He is definitely a very even character. One minute you dislike him, the next you're thinking he's not too bad. They did a great job with him, I've just never been a big "on the fence" person when it comes to video games or TV shows. Eventually you have to pick a side, which excites me even more for the second season
