  • @weirdhammer

    I really encourage that "THE BEST" way to level up fresh in F076 is to play the Main story, BOS quests and Wastelanders Quests. You need stuff to be unlocked from all those quests at end game anyways. When complete, you will be level 60 or 70, ready to invest in a build and have plenty of cores to roll legendaries. It's a Fallout game. No reason to grind and minmax XP.

    So in short terms as a solo player don't be solo, and as a level one out of the vault, just start as a fully levelled endgame character.

    In short terms, as solo, you can do this and it works. I've been doing it and getting a lot of XP. and as level one out of the vault, do events, play the game. XP flies if you are actually doing stuff in the game other than building. Especially at the lower levels

  • @rneal63
    @rneal63 Жыл бұрын

    A comment for starting players. Coming out of the vault on the way to "The Wayward", I pick all the blue soot flowers and sell them to the wayward to get a few caps. At flatwoods, the guy locked in the fridge tells you where his cap stash is. If you go to camp McClintock, their is the large water purifier plan in the overseers stash box. A higher level player can buy a fusion generator plan for under 200 caps and sell it to you, otherwise, I can't find them until around level 30. I farm purified water to get most of my caps and also sell excess chems and golfer clothes. You can sell weapons but I usually scrap them for mods and steel at lower levels. If you take over the workshop at the dirt track, you unlock a water purifier that doesn't have to be placed in water, but it produces slow and only holds 2 purified water at a time.

    To what end other than obtaining level 50, which gives you better weapons and armor should a player want to level up faster. Beyond level 50 everything remains the same except the increase in difficulty when confronting enemies. I would say, if your below 50, take your time and do the missions, open up your map locations for fast travel options and learn to understand how the weapons, armor and perk cards with other items such as food, drinks, meds work in conjunction with each other while you are exploring the countryside. Once you are 50 and above, you can take on the most difficult events and in most cases solo BOSS creatures.

  • @joeykeith

    @joeykeith

    I agree with you but after 50 is when you obtain legendary perk cards and the only way to upgrade those is by cashing in the perk cards you get when leveling up. so i would say if you want to maximize your build in 76 you need to go well above level 50

  • @sirlionheart4614

    Going to assume you don't play. Perk cards, perk coins, your second/third load outs, scoreboard, upgrading legendary perk cards. Are the examples I can think of atm on why you want to lv past 50.

    @@eden20111 toss grenades. They are easy to make and with grenadier you get Xp quick. Better yet a simple one shot grenade launcher with a few rounds will definitely get the job done. The key is to get to high ground and just start tossing from as far as possible.

    Also, what i do a lot of the time is do high level Events like the BoS Event (forgot the name) and it’s such an easy way to get top tier weapons, I’m level 12 with a 3 star anti armor single action revolver and a berserkers .44 pistol. It may be annoying and or rude to people who are actually trying to do the event, but that doesn’t really matter to me

    I've run into so many level 200+ players that have smashed through the levels but have no idea about Perk Cards, recipe or chem buffs, how to make a specific build, using flux, or where to spend their gold bullion, because they've just done events, then hit West Tek and not bothered with the storyline. (It was even worse when there were legacy weapons. I met a level 1000+ who had basically just played by pointing and shooting and destroying everything, but had absolutely no idea about the game). So unless you're just on Fallout 76 to play events, I would spend the first 50 levels learning the game and exploring the map. I played the first two months as a solo player, (the way I played every Fallout game before this one), and pretty much ignored everything that was going on. In hindsight, that was probably a bit extreme, but it's definitely worth playing the storyline to get through the first 50 levels, but after that, go hell for leather because the higher you level, the more Legendary Perk Cards (LPCs) you get. FOR NEW PLAYERS: LPCs will either give you a specific buff (make more ammo, poison resistance etc) or you can use them to add to your SPECIAL score and increase the number of normal perk cards you can use. There are 6 x LPC slots and each unlocks at different levels (the 6th unlocks at level 300) and each LPC is increased by using perk coins and you get perk coins by scrapping perk cards (each scrapped card gives 2 x perk coins). Perk cards are awarded when you level up, plus every 5 levels you get a perk card pack with 4 perk cards in it So... if you have 6 x legendary perk card slots and each legendary card maxed out, that can add 30 additional points to your SPECIAL load out, which makes a huge difference, or have some for particular buffs, depending on your style of play The rubbish part being that unless you know exactly what cards you want and stick to a single build and play style, you'd be over level 400 before you've accumulated enough perk cards to scrap and max out the LPCs

    Equip the cards you can and use the equipment you can but at that low of a level i would recommend finishing the story or getting a friend to help you. If you finish the story you should be at or above 50. If a friend that is high level goes into westek with you, all you have to do is hit a super mutant once and let your friend finish him off. You will still get all the XP.

    Um yeah, how the fuck can u lvl up when u have no caps to fast travel let alone to have 3000+ rounds of ammo of which u spend half on one run and not to mention constantly repairing ur weapon. When I do a mission Im broke. Im lvl 31 and get 600xp and 300 caps which is not enought for a 100 bullets and 3 stimpacks. On said mission I spent all of my ammo, all of my stimpaks, my guns are broke and my armor is broke... The grind is incomprihesable in this game. It will eventually make me quit because this type of grind is the worst.

    We’ve all been there in the beginning. That’s why I created this channel. I know i dont have a lot of content on stuff like that on here yet but i will. For stimpacks, go to a chemistry station and use purified water to create diluted stimpacks. You will get double (quadruple if you have the chemist perk) and even though they dont heal you as much, when your a lower level they work great. I have a guide on lead already and that can help you make ammo. I’ll do an ammo guide shortly. It gets easier every level after 50 too. I hope this helps.

    That's been an issue for me as well. I make most of my caps by selling things to the NPCs at the various trainstations. I suspect that as I get more of the plans and have fewer needs that it will improve somewhat. But, with all the things that you really need early on, it's a shame that there's so few opportunities for caps. I see awesome plans, but I can't afford them.
