As someone who has only been playing around with merges for a month or 2, I've learned sooo much from creators like you and Mr. Church. Oh for sure! I find some really clever things in player camps. I’ve noticed much more in the last few months too. I think people are becoming more interested in building now that we have so many plans. In the early days of the game, we’d be lucky to get something new every month. @NukaViolet the pleasure is all mine. I'm still very new to the game but I enjoyed the settlement building in FO4. I probably put 10X the hours into building up settlements than I did playing the game as it was indented, so I was already very familiar with how building worked. I cheated the build limit and built up Sanctuary to the point that it would just crash my console whenever I got near it. 😆 Thank you for the super chill community you've put together and the amazing ideas and videos. Always inspiring ❤️

Not watching much Fallout content these days, but when I saw you’d posted a vid I had to check it out. I used to go to the DC one quite a bit when I was younger. Your build is def making me want to head back! Lovely details and creative mixes to give it that dilapidated look. 🤟

@@NukaViolet well I was lucky enough to have grown up just across the river from DC. Ended up moving into the city for about a decade after college to DJ, work on music, party. I’m a little farther out now, but I still hit downtown on the regular.

This is really amazing. I love it. The layers, the lighting, the attention to detail, all of it.

This build was done in custom worlds so we have a lot more freedom to place things as we’d like. It’s definitely easier to make custom things because you don’t have to fight with the technical part of it. Although I do have a tutorial dedicated to that… 😋 I’d say it’s less frustrating for sure! This is absolutely amazing. You have inspired me❤️ I’m always adding plants to my builds. I’m a little frustrated with how difficult it’s become to merge now in a public/ private server.. Not to mention the wall lighting trick you showed us well over a year ago, it’s pert near’ impossible 🙁 I was wondering if other players were having the same issues with merging too.

@@ericnicolaisen7284 ohhhh you just want to put the walls together. Sorry, I thought you meant just the lights. You need to select the red barn wall (flip to doorway) and place onto a foundation. Then place another foundation on the other side of the doorway. Then you can snap another doorway wall to the second foundation. After you place them you can delete the extra foundation if you want to and swap out the red barn walls for whatever style wall you want. Just keep in mind you’ll have to make them doorways again if you want to change things up. When you make the wall a doorway, it no longer connects it to the foundation. That’s how people can get floating walls. Hope that wasn’t too confusing!
