I struggle with design ideas I'm more of a combat type of person so yea I don't build much tho this video gives me ideas also is there a way to chest the Vault Tec workshop in cause I really don't want to have to die over and over to get to Vault 88 I just want to unlock the stuff so I can build freely

Dude you should do a build walkthrough of this cause it's really good and honestly some people me being one would like to build this.

It might be too late for you, but maybe it'll help people who struggle with Vault 88: It is key to build two doorway pieces: one for the room you're coming from and one for the room you're going to. After that, building becomes much easier and clearer. I hope it helps.

Great build ! I have built about 4 Vaults in total but didn't bother in my last playthrough. I am always amazed how many new ideas I see in these videos.

Use regular light bulbs for light. And just wall lights for decoration!

String lights and hide them in the walls

Please for the love of God convert this into a mod and allow us to download it because this is the exact thing I always wanted my vault to be.

He did use some mods to place wooden doors in the restrooms, and mods to fit vault lighting so it goes brighter

This guy ain't gonna make any tutorial on building this... You gotta do it yourself. Copied it bit by bit, It takes me 4 hours straight to get the base layout of the vault. The decoration can be applied later. It's quite cool the layout👍🏻

Bravo. Getting the vault workshop pieces to snap together is infuriating for me. When I discovered barn and wood will snap to vault floors, I went the other direction . 😂

I've recently come back to fallout 4 after not playing it for about 2 years and I've forgotten how much fun it is to build in this game, I've built about 20 different vaults, each different from the last, I'm currently building one but I'm making changes as I go along because of new ideas I'm coming up with, this has to be one of the best vault builds I've seen but I don't get how people can build all this and not reach build capacity, I have to keep mine small and compact

Late but, transfer and drop gun glitch still works to expand build capacity on console

You can drop all the guns you carry and then you store them with build mode, pick them up from workshop and then repeat the process. It decreases your settlement build limit

Did you use a mod to fix the vault lighting? I hate how the fluorescent lights only luminate a small section of a vault at a time. the default lights work way better but they don't fit the theme of the vault so they feel out of place.

Lol my vault 88 consists of a giant atrium with all my stuff, and a tiny residential area with like 20 beds, a toilet and a bunch of vault posters. Settlers also get water if they are good

I used the Place Everywhere mod to put them there

my guards dont even sit down on the guard table... they just stand or walk around..

Huh. I've been building Vaults all wrong. I keep trying to do massive, open chambers, connected with narrow, claustrophobic corridors. This looks WAY more... Vault-like.

........Wow!!!! I mean........Wow!!!

A little bit of mystery to me why bothering making bathroom out of vanilla shitty looking parts, including wooden doors, while currently having installed mods, so why don't you use a proper one (Housemaker, etc.). Btw, I've also had this issue with a wall with a railing hanging out of it - good solution for it is to use another one and try to fit it with currently placed object. Anyway, this is related to a major issue with atrium parts (prefabs and standalones), which can't often stack themselves for shit - I can very good remember times when I spent like 10 or 15 minutes trying to connect two parts of atrium ceiling (especialliy while placing one part between two other).

My hydroponics is in the center its so big

For some reason, I can’t even get into the vault ;3;. As soon as I go to enter the dug out dirt tunnel- my game glitches and crashes my game. I even tried restarting my game, exiting then re-entering the game and just- reloading and refinding the vault in general. But nothing worked so I just gave up and went to Nuka world. Does anybody have any tips :( I really wanna make this vault

More information needed... what's your chars level? Mods used? Did you simply run to the Vault, or did you wait for the Vault emergency broadcast? Have you activated logging and if yes, what do the last lines of your log say (most likely the reasons for your crashes)?
