Yeah, didn't the other FO3/NV in FO4 have to do that too? something about not being able to use the original voice files in the new engine, and conversion of said files being legally iffy.

they didn't HAVE to, they CHOSE to. obviously the official answer is going to be that you can't re-use the voices, even if you're just copying local files somebody already has because they own both games - but TTW has been doing exactly that for years, with no action taken against them. the voices are no different from all the other assets. ridiculous time waster.

@@LockonKubi i know that they can not use the other voice lines becase they are held under a diffrent copy write. its one of the many reasons why ttw has to be processed on your pc. its fine to give you the software to rip assets and convert them into a mod but they can't just give you the mod.

A challenge run I have concocted within the inner sanctum of my mimd revolves around your infamous YOLO runs. Now, you play cautiously in these runs. Fair enough. Wouldn't wanna die with your one life. But that forgoes the original usage of the acronym, which was previously used by hooligans that would bellow out the acronym while undertaking a horribly stupid stunt that would typically lead to great injury. If you're following along, then you can get where I'm going at. I propose either the YOLO YOLO or the YOLON(You Only Live Once, Nerds!). The rules are having to punch above your weight and do missions far beyond your level, being as reckless as possible (swimming as much as possible, avid drug use, falling from great heights, going through the front entrance of major encampments, etc.), and no sneaking. No peaceful solutions either (unless attacking leads to innocent people dying, then you'd be allowed to use a non-violent solution to not be forced into being a douce). However, to alleviate this, you'd be able to use healing items (as the previously mentioned hooligans that got injured would (hopefully) recover to the point of being able to perform their shenanigans once more). Perhaps a mod that can immediately grant access to all quests that have a level requirement would be needed. Idk, just an idea I myself am too scared to do lol

Jon if you ever go back to fallout 3 remember you can just rebind the VATs button to keep them the same across games.

Some pretty amazing work by the modders. I've seen the mod a few times while browsing nexus. The only thing missing that I wish they'd included is weapon condition. I SO SO SO wish that I had a better reason to pick up the countless guns I come across, OTHER than the fact that I'm a monstrous hoarder in Fallout. I took all the "Strong Back" perks which let me walk normally when over-encumbered, as well as fast travel while over-encumbered.. So I routinely pick up literally everything that I'm allowed to pick up... (Except "Medical Liquid Nitrogen Dispenser"'s, because they're one of the most worthless items in the game, along side enameled buckets.) But I so wish I had to maintain my weapons and repair them with other ones I find/take along the way. It's one of my favorite mechanics from NV that was left out of 4, only to be partially re-introduced in FO76!! >_ I know there's a way to mod it into the game (FO4).. But I'm not confident enough with installing semi-complex mods yet to feel comfortable trying to install it. Which is partly why I really wish they'd put it into THIS mod! >_
