Bunker Hill is an incredible location to build in. So many people miss the UP part of it. The potential for building on top of the current market is almost limitless.

Excited to see what this becomes. I have plans to do Bunker Hill at some point. Lvl 4 Merchants belong someplace.

that's actually not a bad idea re-the lvl 4 merchants. I mean I might put the bar guy in Sanctuary as it's already built, but having the others in Bunker Hill is a great suggestion. Thanks!

norespawns I've got all of my lvl 4 merchants at Starlight Drive In right now, and I'm gonna move them all later. in my RP mind, I'm pretty much upgrading Bunker Hill with the minuteman, which attracts more merchants and such.

norespawns there is a mod I'll tweet you to get all the ones that kind of glitch out.

i got a WW1 and Alamo vibe when i built my bunker hill, so i my build was inspired to look like trenches with little motels and a bar.

I have combat improved for ps4 and half of the settlers including stockton are missing limbs and still walking around

So happy you are at Bunker Hill. Now I can get some new creative ideas. I am sure it will look super grand!

Clean and Smooth settlement mod, there is one for almost every settlement. Not sure if it's on PlayStation, but it wipes the whole settlement of everything

I tend to focus on the dead space areas that could do with either cluttering or something to draw settlers over, I usually try to make the empty areas in the market area seem busy by adding crates or other items to fill in the void to make it feel like that it is a trading area that has goods being stored, coming in and going out.

Uhhhmmmmm.... EVENING!!!!

Bunker Hill is a tough one. I just put up a few turrets and guard posts covering the areas it gets attacked from, because damn, it gets attacked a lot in my game. For a while I was sending all my companions and named NPCs there, but they all got screwed up with places to sleep and everyone got unhappy. My Old Man Stockton also died, I just found him dead inside the walls after a raider attack, maybe a grenade? I carried his body out to give him a burial at sea, but got tired of carrying it so I stuffed him inside the ruined shell of a car. Ride shiny and eternal! Or whatever. It's just a damn dangerous area, my Anne Whatshername (the tailor lady) got killed going from Bunker Hill to Sanctuary, and even when I reload my save and went back, through some mishap or glitch, she died about a block away to those raiders outside the crackhouse. That was upsetting for me, as I had a hell of a time getting named merchants in the first place.

Hargarves. I always build my named NPCs their own customized place in Sanctuary Hill. I swear it rarely gets attacked if you give it lots and lots of defense.

Not entirely sure if they have this function on PS4 but on Xbox if you go into the mod menu from the title screen, then to your load order, and click whatever button it says for settings, it opens a menu with choices to either disable all mods or delete all mods. If you disable them all you can come back in after swapping playthroughs and re-enable all of them the same way. Should be the quickest and easiest way to do so.

You should do something major with the airport

Something like a traders sanctuary. Since it's an airport for travellers and such. Hotelish lots of shops and bars and things. I don't know

It works really well actually. I did something similar at the Nuka Red Rocket, with the little shops and tiny buildings, I even made a chapel type building because a guy showed up with the reverend outfit. Not sure why I decided to build that there though, that place is fucking massive.

Also I really want to see you drag all the pieces of Stockton to Bunker Hill and make a memorial or something for him. I dragged a coat rack all the way from Sanctuary to Spectacle Island, you can do it.

I've only got 180 hours into FO4, but I never knew you got Bunker Hill as a settlement. I actually just ignored the location completely.

The place which u r thinking of is BATFL Regional Branch (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Lasers).

There is a mod(should be on PS4 I think) called settlements expanded, doesn't do what the other mods by similar names do(which is expand each build area by a certain variable), what the mod author has done is went in to each and every settlement and strategically modified the build area to reach out to places where people would likely want to build(idk what that means for bunker hill but you could check it out)

I love Bunker Hill. I did build there, but I can't finish the build because every time I get near the place, the game crashes. It's depressing because I really enjoyed building there. I hope you don't run into it crashing, I've been told it's a usual happenstance for that particular settlement for whatever reason.

yeah I wish mods weren't shared between profiles. it sucks because what mods I have my boyfriend has to use too. he doesn't want mods at all and even if he did there isn't room for him to install any of his own due to all my building mods.

Yeah I had the same problem with skyrim and my brother, I had so many mods too, going through every single day and enabling them is just mind bogglingly tedious

there is a scrap all mod for sp4, it's called scrap everything. it will literally let you scrap everything but the ground. I just used to remove the castle and build my own fort independence

Interested to see what you can do with this. It'll be a challenge

There is a clean mod for bunker hill which only leaves the main market building.

STS doesn't let you scrap buildings. It's in the description. Scrap that Commonwealth lets you scrap almost anything (haven't tested it here, personally). It's made for those who want to build outside the vanilla settlements. Also, you need to fix their junk walls. They suck!

You could make an alternate account as you're on PS4, make another bethesda account if you have to

You can delete the structures on PC with a mod but I don't suggest anyone does as I did several times and the game kept crashing (no other mods have made it crash). Also there are set AI routes that get messed up so settlers can't access other original structures anymore and get stuck where the original structures were. Instead on PC (modded) and PS4 (unmodded) (I play on both) I just added to the original structures and it turned out really nice. Much better than the original. I put in new stairs for settlers to get to the bedrooms above the bar. You just gotta learn to love the original structures and use them as a base. For those who still have him alive, don't touch Old Man Stockton's mattress at the end of the walkway or he will never sleep. He goes to bed at 10pm instead of 12pm like settlers do and gets up at 4am instead of 6am. Must be an old man thing! lol

I'm surprised that there isn't some kind of "Nexus Mod Manager" program for consoles that gives you the ability to save profiles.

If you have the disc copy of fallout you can create a second folder for it

there's a series of settlememt mods called "clean and smooth", cant remember the guys name which is bad cause i have a lot of his mods. there is a bunker hill one and its good

there is a scrap everything mod but you have to be so careful as it scraps everything lol. save a lot when using it.

I wondered what happened to that old guy, I feel your pain, i lost trader cricket in a fight at the castle, game is just not the same! plus her crew and brahmin won't move on, they just stand around her body... sad

I think u should get the creation kit so u can remove unwanted shrubs, debris and sort buildings

We have the same problem on XBox, with having to disable mods if we want to use a no mod play through.

any ideas for Summerville? the house and the landscape have been throwing me off for awhile now. the scrap all things mods can't get rid it, unfortunately.

this might be a bit late, but you could just make a secondary psn profile, and use that on your ps4. that's what i did when i started using mods, so i didn't mess up my initial playthrough. love all your builds by the way.

you could build on top of the trading building

there is a mod on xbox1 repairs the main building and moves everyone inside then deletes everything else and puts a steel railing around the edge

Will you start doing Fallout 4 videos on PC once you get done with the settlements with PS4 mods or will you just stick with PS4?

stick to ps4 - there's no point switching after so much time. Other games on PC though.

Build above the market... Then you can build upward at least 3 stories

You should start a Fallout 4 let's play in a style like gopher or sorcererdave. That'd be cool.

I've also been looking for something that will let me have profiles for my mods. So far nothing though :(

Where do you get the trade caravan post?

If you go to loadorder you can disable all mods, I believe that you can't enable all thou.

You could play with profiles only on PC. Sorry.

I haven't even bought the models yet - so you've got a good few months until I can.

There is a bunker hill mod that fixes up the main building. Can member it's name though just kno it exists.

what mods do you use

I have the USO Integrated mod for Xbox One and I can't find the Caravan Trade Post. Does anyone know a mod that does have it?

It's not a mod you have to do 2 quest in Bunker Hill and it unlocks it.

no but I would then the mods would be enabled during that save. I mean I wanted to be able to switch between a modded character and unmodded without having to manually turn my mods off/on.

norespawns when u change your character there will be two types of each one ones modded and ones not but I play on Xbox so I don't knos

I think you should save up and get a gaming pc for FO4 its like a completley new game! Its awesome and you can build huge settlements
