Fallout 3 has one of the most haunting atmospheres. I love playing it at night or around 3 AM just to get into the feeling of the Metro or the Dark wasteland. Such a classic.

I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure they weren't capturing the death claws but engineering them. What you are seeing is the breeding program of super soldiers. What you see in the wild are the natural form of those escaped experiments. If you read into death claw lore they were being made to battle communist...

@@Lycan_of_1941 yea I think ages ago I rented the 2nd one for a week but it was nothing to write home about. The way the 1st one was played. A fast paced stealth based game. It was intense and literally despite anyone admission or non admission has only been touched by the last of us 1. Cause TLOU 2 movement was way to slow

Fallout 3 was my entry point in the franchise, and probably the first PC game I ever pirated. I genuinely had no concept of the words "open world," "sandbox," and "RPG" used together; and in fact, only understood the latter through the lens of JRPGs. I never finished it for one reason or another, but I always loved the post-apocalyptic aesthetic. I was always struck by the design of the power armor on the cover, but it wasn't until FO4 turned them into wearable tanks that I really got into it.
