keep pressing down A (end combat mode). i dosen't work on Fallout 2 anymore.

There is alot of run's that he does not show that did have random encounters and they made him lose time

Actually, that doesn't matter anymore. You can download the fast animation file I made about 2,5 years ago here: www.speedrun.com/patches/ENDANIM_auho9.FRM , rename it to ENDANIM.FRM and copy it to Your Fallout 1 folder\data\art\intrface to have fast animations also in english version.

tysm, i have been improving my time greatly from analyzing your speedruns but keep failing because of random encounters. Is there a way to slow the rate of random encounters without modding or cheating in any way?

@@spacevio2482 I speculated at some point of time that - as it's based on the number of tics, which are in turn based on the computer clock (both bus rate and muliplier) - using a different computer (probably a slower one, but what's most important, with another processor/motherboard combination) could affect them, but it's a task for someone with greater knowledge to work out. Probably it can be done, though.

also encounters are not the only thing that slows me down. My fastest ever as of now is 1:11 and i can't make it any lower for some reason and want to get the wr. any tips?
