Fallon VS Three Stripe White Belt Male
Hi guys!
So today, I am rolling with one of my brother's white belts. He has very good top pressure and he can always knee-slice me which is very rare. He is always pushing forward and trying different approaches while rolling with me which is a great quality to have in Jiu-Jitsu. As always, thank you so much to every one of my teammates for making me better every single day. Doing these videos actually help me see what I am doing and what I need to improve in my game. Anyway, hope you guys have a wonderful day, and leave comments below about what you want to see next!
Xoxo,
Fallon

Thankyou Fallon! I've been training for coming up on a year now and feel like I'm just starting to be able to hold my own regardless of size difference- I'm a 60kg gal. Your videos have definitely helped me so much, in that your voiceovers explain the various ways to try one submission (normally because your opponents are larger/ stronger than you). I had a habit of giving up on subs and trying new ones (which did get me good at linking submissions) when I should have probably committed a bit more. inspiration
I’m a 35 yr old woman that started training a few weeks ago after watching my 9 yr old son train for yrs. Wish it didn’t take me so long to break through my nerves! You are so fun to watch!! You’re amazing!! I’m a forever fan of yours! ❤
Love love love these videos! Im struggling right now with not yet being technical enough to make up for the strength difference when I roll with the guys and seeing the way you roll and how you adjust, what you’re looking for, all the things you share in the voiceovers helps so much! You’re hashtag goals, girl!! 💕

Hearing this brings me a tremendous amount of joy 🥹 🫶🏻 I get a lot of hate comments from guys on these videos so having a female practitioner get some knowledge and motivation out of it is what keeps me doing these ❣️🙏🥋 I struggled a lot my first two years of training, but if you stick with it, I promise it gets easier and you will overcome things you never thought possible! Thank you so much for watching and supporting, it means the absolute world to me❣️oss!

Thanks for the sharing Fallon, thanks for the shooting Alvin . This armbar is always a winner, we now see it coming everyhtime :). Do you use sometimes tomoe nage/airplane sweep/overhead sweep (I'm not a specialist and the name seems to be different depending on the martial art) ? thanks a lot !
Martial arts is stupidly addictive. I been boxing for a several months now. I started looking at bjj to increase my self defense skill level. It's very valuable to you mentally as well as physically.
Watched quite a few of your vids, excellent. Used to do some basic Judo and particularly love the way you narrate the moves you've mastered. Cheers.

The strenght and the size matter a lot in this sport. But in this case the gap of skill is so much high (white belt Vs brown belt) that nullifies both of them. Eight/ten years of training and six months are a massive difference of experience.
1:38 I think he likes being there though haha.

Nice video! Why do you actually never go for the reverse head scissor submission as you could have easily done it around 8:30 min in the video?
@sheriff265
2 ай бұрын
There's no reverse headscissor in BJJ. It's used to pin in wrestling and not submit. To submit, you need to apply with the arm in but there was no arm here. Yes you can pin someone by applying the hold but it was unnecessary because she was already working on that arm lock.

A small suggestion: maybe it would be helpful to explain what the partner could have beat you. At 1:28, he could he could have windshielded to trap a leg and then leg dragged you. At 2:25, he had a back chase. As an advanced belt, you could use these videos to show your partners the openings that they did not recognize. Also, John Danaher has an excellent video on the pull vs push side control kimura that is really excellent, with good points about weight distribution and how to bypass even good framing, in case you haven’t seen and learned from it already. Great video as always!

A 3 stripe white belt has learned that he can't do much against a brown belt, even one he has a weight advantage over. He avoided acting like a spazzy new guy and has probably learned that going 100% will get him nowhere after 30 seconds. If you haven't rolled for a significant amount of time at all, it makes sense that you'd say that. Watch black belts roll and you'll see the same flat expression. The white belt is doing exactly what he's supposed to do. Her technique is there, and his isn't.
