Sisters are my favorite faction for a reason. It's nice to not be the only fangirl anymore. lol. hope you learn of my favorite, Ephrael Stern. she is such a great contradiction. @@TwentyTwoHya

The Sororitas are just one of the coolest faction, for a lot of reasons. The Remembrancer is such a great creator too.

Nothing quite as wholesome in 40k as the sisters of battle. with bolter, flamer, and melta, they bring absolution to the universe and cleanse it of the sin of existence from the mutant, heretic, and xenos. Their leader Morvenn Vahl is finally getting a novel this summer and i'm hoping it's the best story yet. sounds like the lady in the begining is doing her best Emma Gregory impersonation.

I've loved most of the Sisters of Battle books and short stories I've read, nothing like reading about people with genuine faith and belief in something bigger than themselves to make the heart swell Didn't know we're getting a Morvenn Vahl book, looking forwards to that for sure!

Ephrael Stern is a really interesting SoB, she has 700 or so other SoB souls merged into hers, and she's killed a greater daemon of Slannesh, was kidnapped by the Dark Elves, fought in the gladiator arenas of Camorragh, and she can't die, every time she does, she comes back to life. Also her best friend and saviour, Kyganil, an Eldar, who kept recieving visions to save Ephrael, as she some how contains the power of Anti-chaos, like her soul messes with the fabric of the warp. So her and Kyganil just go on buddy cop adventures all the time, recently she met with Yvraine after she brought Guilliman back and was given a new mission. Sadly there isn't much lore around her, or many videos but she's an awesome character

Ephrael Stern has the very good Daemonifuge comics series, a book as well I believe, and has had two different miniatures. Her lore has her too powerful for the tabletop, she can pancake a city with her mind. She's a walking psykic nuclear bomb that can barely contain that power. Kyganil has to calm her down a lot so she doesn't erupt. She's awesome! :)

Fun fact: Morvenn Vahl was a sister of the Order of the Ebon Chalice. That should say enough about her devotion to the order.

Codex says that Vahl was Ardent Shroud (actions over words), which explains why she's a militant Abbess Sanctorum. (All the Abbess Sanctorum's before her all saw the position as a position of penance, so they went on a life long pilgrimages instead of sitting with the other High Lords. Vahl wants to take the war to chaos herself! )

Adepta Sororitas are so freaking cool and awesome. This maybe a touchy subject to some but it boggles my mind how some want female space marines instead of the Sisters. -I mean if sloppy seconds and pandering are your thing sure- but this is so much cooler concept. Besides I think it is cool how Sisters of Battle and Silence mirror the Space Marines and Grey Knights. Both are only girls or boys allowed clubs but also few similarities but still different enough not be the same thing.

They are amazing! To me their in a league of their own to where no really rivals them. In my personal opinion we don't really need female space marines. The Sister's are as insanely amazing as they come!

22:16 Not only are they redeemed, but Sisters who survive battle are welcomed back with wide open arms and smiles. Essentially, the Emperor *himself* absolved them of sin by protecting them through the battle and not letting them die (errmm sometimes Sisters become Repentia on purpose for this opportunity. The dumbasses are punished if found out lol) Saint Celestine "the undying" herself was a Repentia before, which I find awesome about her story. To think she was the lowest of the low at one point, now look at her. Loved the reaction, I can tell the armour and art genuinely had you geeking out harddd at lmao.

None gun quite like nuns with guns! The talented and creative folks at Games Workshop, in the table top gaming books, as well as the authors of the Black Library create the majority of official lore and stories of the 40K universe.

yeah the simple answer is a lot of different people over the years have shaped and changed it. many things today are WAY different than their rogue trader days. especially the squats and the Tau. one was eaten by tyrannids then found out be ok but wildly different, and the other didn't exist.... then did.

@@Lazrael32 Agreed... There's so been so much content and lore throughout the years it's hard to keep up with. It began for me as a kid playing blood bowl back in '86. I'm currently rereading a 2001 hard copy of 'Let the Galaxy Burn' and 'Rouge Trader' next.

Exactly how I felt about Mortarion and plague marines…Thousand Sons are dope too, especially on Warhammer Tacticus.

"I'm a fan-girl" Yer the Sororitas are worth it! (and a great symbol of female empowerment) Strangely enough there is still so much more to learn about them. :D

The murder nuns and Salamanders are what got me into this... "hobby"

I'm not a 40k fan anymore, but I still watch your channel because it's interesting to see a women who's into Sisters of Battle. Most women I've seen in the hobby tend to gravitate towards Tryanids, Slaanesh, or Orks. Your reactions are good to listen to while I paint my Yu Jing Army for Corvus Belli Infinity. Glory to The Dragon and the State Empire.

You should check out Vox in the Void's Blood Angel stories if you like Blood Angels. The Descent of the Angel - The story is told from the perspective of an ancient Blood Angel Dreadnought. (personal fav) No Good Deed - A Lamenters story (Successor Chapter of the Blood Angels). This one I believe you would quite like.

I have watched Descent of the Angel before. In a livestream and unfortunately the VOD was copyrighted and muted, so I couldn't even take the section I reacted to out of the VOD, and upload it for you guys :( But it was insanely good. I haven't watched No Good Deed though so I'll have to be sure to check it out!

Check out some Lore of the Death Corps of Krieg Arch got some good introduction vids on them and then a 40 part (im not kidding) series on the Siege of Vraks In which they were deployed

I agree. Janovich's animated Krieg videos are also worth checking out. Both the Krieg civil war and the Siege of Vraks ( siege of Vraks is still an ongoing series) are excellent:)

Sister Augusta is a certified bad ass. and it's nice that she goes through quite the character arc.

While the Sisters of Battle are not my favorite faction overall (waaagh), they do have my favorite subfaction which are the hospitaliers. Their style obviously takes inspiration from WW1 nurses, but they are one of the few imperium factions that genuinely give hope to the regular citizens and soldiers that see them. Space marines might be like seeing an angel, but if you meet a space marine the situation has probably gone to shit and you are most likely going to die horribly. Anyone from the inquisition will kill you for looking at them funny, and the mechanicus are most likely just going to turn you into a servitor if you are not useful. The hospitaliers are loved by almost all imperium citizens and the guard absolutely worship them for how good they are at being medics.

You got to do a sister of battle cosplay 😎
