You can tell this song was made, with the chorus/rap part just coming to Ronnie, one day, and he just HAD to record it, so he just hastely built the rest of the song around those parts. i like the song, dont get me wrong, but you can tell thats, what happened if you know a thing or two about writing

Ronnie does what he does. If youre going to judge it, That's your problem. He's true to himself and he likes it and yeah there isnt rap in this specific song technically but just because you dont lie rap, doesnt mean you have to badmouth it everytime you hear it.
