Man this dudes style is nasty. Rap, sing, scream/rage.. and you get a complete different sound from him and the band everytime. The way they blend all these styles and sounds throughout the song and he throws in mini skits/sound bites of himself. That’s some real artistry. There’s levels to this lol

I've liked them since the early punk days, but didn't keep them close until popular monster, voices in my head, and the now greatest song ever composed Watch the world burn. It took the new age FIR saga of absolute epic genre bending to make this older stuff much more incredible. I don't think I'd care at all for this beat if it wasn't for the recent stuff, but now I feel like I'm one with Ronnie so all his shit just sounds and feels like art as opposed to just being my genre of music.

As a teen Escape the Fate was visually appealing to me, but I wasn't connecting with the sound. I became aware of Falling in Reverse a few years ago and was blown away. Since then the love has been building, which has crescendoed and climaxed to staying up til sunrise everyday for the past week exploring and discovering Ronnie's body of work. Thank you so much for your dedication to this sound, it's so healing. I feel every range of emotion through the songs, but above all I feel joy. This song in particular makes me feel whole again. They get hate cuz this music is VERY experimental and it's very hard to get behind. As someone who listens to more Hip Hop than this, I can firmly say Ronnie is very amateur in his rapping skills, he's very corny. Plus the instrumentals aren't tradicional rap instrumentales which is why this is experimental. I have mixed feelings on it, I don't hate it but I don't love it

I believe one never truly moves past the "Emo phase" you just learn to better control your emotions. I "left" the Emo phase 4 years ago yet I still wear my band shirts black skinny jeans and Vans and I still love to listen to some Heavy ass music loaded with emotions. I also thought this when I was a little boy. Christians won't admit it, but they used to think 2k would be judgement day. You can still find old pop songs that reference it (Party like its 1999) I had people tell me I would likely not grow into adulthood because Jesus would come back in 2k. I figured out in like 1993 that is was all bullshit. I'm a 40 year old white fart that actually hopes for equality and true justice, so I find myself quite alone.

Eeh. They've done songs like this before. And Coming Home was a big step towards pop, what with so many rock and metalcore bands doing it these days, I kinda saw this coming from about a mile and a half away.

This is a much better execution of using rap and electronic elements in their music than in past attempts. its amazing how far each record they've made changes from one to another. Either way, Excited for the future of this band.

As far as im concerned all of his albums are drastically different. And although metalcore is my favorite genre of all time it gave it's last breath in 2013. Id rather him sing something he cares about over forcing out bullcrap. This must be the 80s felt when the 90s happened. All the new bands sing generic bullshit.. Where's "second and sebring"...pouring his heart about how he wish he could say thank you to his mom and longing to show her his success. The substance abuse songs that actually sounded personal..instead of a fan fiction written about songs. and where's the fucking fun? like "a boy brushed red" or "final episode" And nobody is even heavy any more parkway drive, the devil wears prada, ATREYU Christ all the new "metalcore" sounds like either breaking benjamin knock offs or dance gavin dance if they lost all creativity. It's low energy, not genuine, and even though some may try to scream people like danny warsnop and austin carlile would be holding the note for 10 seconds after the new guys star coughing and reaching for their waters.

"So let's take take take the throne and break the cycle" That just just hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm not sure what he is referring to, but today is my first day of sobriety. Drinking has been a problem in my family for a long time. That's what killed my father, and I am going to break that cycle. I fuck with this.

I feel like he’s gotten better over time. I remember how the verse in “Rolling Stone” literally had the words “empirical spiritual lyrical,” which is very close to the “spiritual lyrical miracle” meme, and he didn’t sound like he was joking. I also feel like the rhyme of “chatter” with “matter” in “Alone” was really forced, even though I really like the song overall. He’s definitely gotten better at writing rap lyrics, and his flow is at least as good now as it was then.

I have a lot of rap in my KZread history and maybe that’s how he came up in my recommendations and I didn’t even know what I was missing. I might need to search for some more heavy metal scream type stuff. I don’t even know what to look for but I can’t get over this beat and chorus. It’s so energizing!
