Could be wrong but it sounds like they're using an octave pedal for the second breakdown after the solo instead of a 7 string.

Yeah… you could do it either way. The reason I did the seven string was because 1) the low note in the beginning of the breakdown (5th fret 7th string) and 2) I love my 7 strings 😂 happy shredding 🤘🏼🎸

Tuned down, there’s no real good way for this… alternatively you could just drop shift on a six string but then you’ll be missing a note in beginning of the breakdown 🤘🏼🎸
