Figured it was yime to make a comment! Saw this tutorial five years ago and have made several of these "Falling Charms" wonderful pattern. Thank you.
After looking at the way Jenny laid them out, i noticed that if you look at the two sides with the strips as the number "7" and the letter "L", she started with the block with the strips on the top and the right side of the charm looks like a number "7"- then the next charm square had the strips on the left and bottom of the charm looks like a letter "L". So you could see that it would be laid out as follows: 7 L 7 L 7 L 7 L etc and the next row would start with an "L"

Thank you so much! This is my first quilt and have a hard time seeing the pattern. I'll try to lay it out like this😊
OMG. I can NOT believe how easy this is! I have some charm packs I haven’t known what I wanted to do with but THIS is it! Thank you so much!
Thank you to the person that posted the L7 layout. I am fairly new to quilting and was losing my mind trying to figure out the layout,! Now I can’t wait to get started on this quilt!
Can't wait to try this. I love your tutorials. My husband teases me whenever he hears the duck's quack, quack. Now he says "oh did you learn that from quack quack?" :) Thanks so much Jenny. I have learned soooo much from you as I was a beginner quilter.
Thank the lord for your tutorials! I learn how to quilt solely from your videos! :) thank you!
Hello this is Claudette from New Zealand. I have watched your tutorials over the years and just love all you do for us. this is sent in case you forget how important you are to all of us women that don't get out as often as we would like. Thanks
Oh Jenny! You are the Quilting Goddess! Sewing the blocks on the strips is brilliant! So much easier than cutting little strips and lining them up individually. Now I just have to find the time to make another quilt! :) Love your videos!
Years ago I collected purple fabric and cut it up in 5' squares for a future quilt, and then carefully filed them away waiting until "someday" - When I saw this tutorial by Jenny I knew that "someday" had come! This was such a fun project that I kept making blocks and ended up with a really big quilt! Thanks again Jenny for a fabulous tutorial and for helping me bust my stash so I can purchase more!

How many charm squares or 5” sqs would be needed for a baby quilt?
Hello, Charleen here, I am from down in south Louisiana. I just finished a falling charm baby quilt. In place of one of the charms I used a photos of the baby I am giving the quilt to as a gift. Thank you for the easy to understand tutorials.
I made this quilt. It was quick and easy and turned out beautifully!! Thank you, Jenny!
Thanks for always being so easy going! It's wonderful to learn from someone who isn't soo worried about every tiny detail and being perfect! Everything you do turns out beautifully and I love to watch your tutorials! Thank you!!
This is one of my favorite tutorials. It's such a fun quilt too.
I've made a lovely baby quilt with Kath Kidson fabric using this pattern. Thanks Jenny :)
I made this quilt. It was absolutely beautiful! Thank you Missouri Quilt Company for all the great patterns. Oh, and by the way, I have made several of the sailboat quilts as well using your template. Give them as baby gifts. Everyone has loved them!
I am completely in love with this quilt! Thank you Jenny, you always inspire me.
If it's easier, when making this quilt, think of those 2.5" borders that are sewn around the two sides of the charms as "7" and "L". So you stagger 7-L-7-L-7-L-7-L-7-L......make sense? And the next row is the exact opposite: L-7-L-7-L-7-L-7--L.

I just made this as a Christmas present for my future mother in-law. This was the second quilt I've made ( first for my future sister in-law). I've never made a quilt before and your instructions are so easy to follow! I did take a picture of it before I started sewing so that I had the layout correct, but in the end it came out wonderful! My boyfriend really liked it and thinks his mom will love it! Thank you Jenny for your awesome tutorials for making quilts!!!!!
My Monday night quilt class is making this quilt. Can't wait to see all the difference fabrics everyone uses!
Jenny, I absolutely love the" Falling Charms " quilt . I love the ease and the bueaty of it . I plan on making it in the near future. Thanks for all your wonderful tutorials, they're just great .

I really love the fabric choices and the beautiful result in this tutorial. Jenny, your instructions are once again so thorough and you explain in such an easygoing way that anyone watching can end up with a quilt as beautiful as yours. MSQC is definitely the go to site for any quilting questions!
Another great tutorial! I love it when you show a different color way!!!
Favorite tutorial because it's easy, uses precuts, and looks unique. I was thinking using white charms and a colored jelly roll for a different look.

I love the one you made with the bright fabrics Jenny. Just goreous. Happy quilting.
You are so awesome. Every tutorial you have is just a dream to watch and to help bring out things I didn't know I could do. Thank you so very, very much. At 70 I still cannot do complicated. I stick with simplicity and color. It works for me and those that receive my meager makings seem to love them. Mainly because they are not so fancy that they want to put them away and not use them.
just ordered 4 charm packs that i LOVE...now i have a wonderful pattern! thanks so much!!
Made this using various pale blue fabrics, ( mainly flowers) from my stash. Called it Rhapsody in blue- size wise suitable for cot quilt. Then a fellow quilter and I recently hosted a fun day for our quilting group in Castle Douglas, Scotland and made 2 bed sized quilts to donate to a local womens refuge using same method. Really easy to do. Thank you.
I love this one! Thanks for another great tutorial, Miss Jenny.
