Gianna Rivera Honestly I'm not that surprised. I was really mad at how unenthusiastic and disrespectful the crowd was in this but think about it. This is a generation that is ruled by One Direction. I mean look at what happened at the Teen Choice Awards this year. 1D practically won every award they were nominated for and they went up against bands like Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons and Maroon 5 which are way more superior musically and in regards to the work they've done over the years, in my opinion. I mean let's face it, no one in 1D would even dream of reaching Patrick's vocal range. Young people are just too ignorant to know what music really is these days. And you're right, it's really sad.

at 15:22 I felt so bad for Patrick because you couldn't hear anyone singing back. Then you had that one girl that the camera pointed at just standing there. Seriously, would kill to be there and I would be jumping around and sining back like some of the girls. But then you have most of them just standing around, at least be a good crowd and sing when he says. You know the words cause he's sung them a couple times now -.- .....

Wow Patrick is incredible, how he didn't collapse on that stage i will never know. He really does sound exhausted by This ain't a scene but can you blame him hes singing everything at a really difficult pitch every song and running and jumping around the stage

@@TianHP if thats true, fire the sound guy. Sure he did his job but he need to learn when to keep sounds and when to kick them out. Another thing is that the instrumentals were wayy to loud, esp compared to how half the time i could barely hear Patrick's vocals but its just my opinion

Really though, despite Wembley being really quite large, with an unfathomable amount of people in the audience, the atmosphere wasn't nearly as good as it was when you look back at their performances at places like Reading Festival. There were more people enjoying themselves and it was just all-around better.

It's an award show, they were expecting pop acts, or hip hop acts, they weren't old enough to appreciate Patrick's vocals and the nuance of Fall Out Boy. They wanted something like Bieber or Drake, they got something..... better... but unexpected , unfamiliar. On the upside some of those kids walked away with a better appreciation of music

Guys, just saying - I was there. Before you start dissing the crowd saying they were shit etc, the video was edited so that you could hear the band, because the crowd were actually louder than the performers. Just saying before you guys start throwing out false things.

If I were there I would've lost my shit. They played most of my favourite songs and they were trying to interest the crowd but more than half of them couldn't give a damn that the four most legendary people were performing their hearts out.

I would've been so hyped and amazed to see FOB live, these girls don't even seem to care. Credit to the ones who were singing and dancing -_-

Guys, I am definitely not the proper age to be into this kinda music (I'm not even a teen) but my dad got me into rock and punk rock before I could walk and talk. I was listening to ACDC at age 1-present. some punk rock bands 5 - present. panic at the disco 7 - present. Shinedown 8 - present. Twenty one pilots 8 - present. Fall out boy 8 - present. Also a lot more stuff. I'm in my own band with influences from all that now. So I know that when your put in front of a legendary band, you gotta show some respect and sing til your lungs give out!

I think Patrick is like really nervous during this performance. My cousin went to see FOB live in Glasgow and she said Patrick didn't talk that much and Pete was mainly the one who talked a lot during it. He shouldn't be nervous though because he is a freaking legend !

i can't believe that Fall Out Boy were on this i mean i love radio one and Fall Out Boy but really they are so different to any of the other singers on this teen awards i'm impressed how they got Fall Out Boy on it

people who had watched his misunderstood it. the reason why you don't seem to hear the crowd and that it seems like they're bored out of their mind is because they took it out. why? because if they didn't, it'll be harder for us too hear Patrick sing this time. another reason why you get to finally hear the crowd scream at the end. its because the song was done. what if you did hear the crowd screaming but not hear them playing? wouldn't it be worse? it's just editing. editing can do anything nowadays now don't assume.

Andy on the drums makes me so so happy

Patrick tweeted that singing with Fall out Boy on stage is extremely tiring. Considering there is a lot of lighting and they wear a lot of layers for performing I'm not surprised he gets breathless also there's a massive vocal range in their songs.

It sounds like Patrick is shaking during This Ain't a Scene I think that the fact nobody was singing and the crowd was basically dead actually had an effect on him :/

Geez in This Ain't A Scene no one sang along when the words were easy enough to sing AND FOB WAS LIKE 'SING PEOPLE'. When I went to a Fall Out Boy concert, I sang every. Single. Word. Now, I never say any swear word even when I sing along to songs, but when I was at the concert, I sang EVERYTHING. I chanted 'this ain't a scene it's a goddamn arms race' and all of the other curse words in the other songs to the top of my lungs because I WAS AT A FREAKING FALL OUT BOY CONCERT. I couldn't talk for the next two days due to how much my throat hurt, but it was worth every second.

Can everyone please stop complaining about the crowd? I was there and the crowd screamed the loudest for FOB and I could barely hear them over the crowd, it felt like most of the crowd were there for Fall Out Boy (I was) and the BBC just dubbed out the crowd so you could actually hear FOB and not the crowds screams. This video doesn't accurately represent the crowd's atmosphere towards them :)

We're all butthurt that the crowd was so disinterested, but let's admit, we'd be doing the same if 5shit was preforming.
