You as a Shia (I guess so because of your Azerbaijan flag) talk about Shia Sunni peace but wish back the ottoman empire (or at least an islamic empire) lol. The Ottomans and the Shi'ite Empire of Safavids were permanently fighting each other in the 16th/17th century. The ottomans slaughtered them for a good reason. The Safavids were always allying with the Non-Muslims to fight the other Muslim states. Of course we can all work together to build up an islamic state, but somehow all Shi'ites fight against Sunnis who try to do so and call them nawasib and wahhabis...

peter brown, The reason the Safavids and Turks started to fight each other is thanks to the Europeans. The Turks were threatening large parts of Europe and if I recall they even attacked Vienna. So then the Europeans saw a big nation to the east of the Turks, the Safavids that they could use against the Turks. So the Europeans gave the Safavids modern weapons and started a conflict between Shiites and sunnies that later led to wars that weakened the Turks and Safavids.

And hold fast to the rope of God, altogether, and do not become divided.(Quran 3.103)

We Muslims are so ungrateful to Ottoman Caliphate for 600 years of service, commitment to Shariah, countless battles with then major powers of the world, to protect the rights and lives of Muslims across three continents, service to Mecca, Madinah and Al Quds in Jerusalem & Palestine and preservation of previous capitals of Islamic Caliphate in Baghdad and Syria. Preservation, protection and spread of Islam in Europe. And when you look around today in those places and you wonder what a mess! You ask yourself a question when was the last time these places were ever united and protected and preserved and people lived in harmony without prejudice of individual race and nationalities and the answer that comes out is "the times of Ottoman" Yes they were not perfect, yes they themselves were partly responsible for their demise but there is alot to learn from them if we look at our condition today.

And let's go ahead in the second question they ask what is your Deen you will say Islam this also represents you as a Muslim then what is the use of third question? Each and every thing will be based on the third question , In lots of Hadees books there is only on question which is the third question the above two questions are not mentioned in lot of Hadees books . Belief is important there was no Sunni name in and after the era of prophet Muhammad sollalahualahiwassalam but there was the belief of Sunnis in and after the era of prophet Muhammad sollalahualahiwassalam. Some 500 years back somegoons came and sold their emaan for some so called Money as Arabs did against turkey . These belief of goons is different from the belief of every Sahabha, Shohda, Auliya etc , to protect Muslims Ummah from deviating the name Sunni Arised and these name was also mentioned in hadees. You can check it. Atlast belief over the prophet Muhammad sollalahualahiwassalam is more important this belief is going to be questioned in Qabar and in Hashr . Alhumdullilah We are Sunnis the main thing in the Sunni is Love .

Because "Muhammed" word is to remember us our Prophet(s.a.v) and if a person's name is Muhammet we can't say any bad word him for respect our Prophet. Because of this Turks use Mehmet. Atatürk's harms 1-Kill Imams 2- Sufism schools (Tekke) were closed 3-Banned the adhan and the Koran in Arabic 4-He turned mosques into stables 5-He translated our alphabet into the western Latin alphabet 6-He forced the public to wear European hats 7-It was forbidden to wear Muslim cap (Takke) and headscarf. As a Turk I'm proud my ancestors were holders of flag of Islam and spreaded it for centruies but we Muslims shouldn't blame and hate each other. Turks made mistakes, Arabs made mistakes. In the time of Ottomans, Muslims were brothers and all considered as one nation. Also I need to correct something in the video. Mehmet is not a name created after caliphate. Its a form of the Muhammed which is written same. Turkish people were ashamed to call their sons Muhammed directly and they used Mehmet.

Salam to all. Yes as a Turkish Muslim, Hamdullah I agree with this and it rings of the truth. I'm from the west of Turkey, Izmir. This state is a big supporter of the Kemal.A. But Hamdullah there are many brothers and sisters practice Islam and the best they can to keep Islam alive in the state. I currently live in Australia Melbourne. I can honestly say I see less discrimination against Muslims here then I have seen on my holidays back in Izmir. But I do believe Islam is and will make a come back. No matter how the western world portrays Islam in the mainstream media, Islam is the only true religion. We as brothers and sisters need to realise this and regardless of our background, we have to unite and stand tall.

Did you ask yourself why Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, all get attacked while Turkey, Suadia, and Morocco remain free of wars and attacks... Cause those governments are tied with the other governments in agreements and follow every order. Basically in the MiddleEast if the nation kisses butt and has forgotten Allah and Islam then they are free from attacks from the outside. Think about it!

No one from The Ottoman Army chopped their arms in the Qabah. I have read that part of the history. It was actually The Ottoman leader called Omar Fahruddin (rahmatullahi alayh) who defended the Qabah together with the Ottoman Soldiers. They had to fight the tribe of Sheikh Sharif and the British Army. But during the defence of Al Qabah, they get a message from Islambol (Istanbul today) about the Armistice of Mudros which was actually about to leave The Qabah to the traitors and the British. But they refuse. As a consequence of their refuse, they will never get any supports to defend The Qabah. Therefore, they had to fight all alone without any supports of weapons or food. Those soldiers defend the Qabah 2 years and 7 months without any supports. They even had to eat grasshoppers because of the lack of the food. But at last, they give up because of the lack of the bullets. May Allah Reward The Defenders of Al Qabah!

Ofcourse normal people don't speak arabic. They mean it for academic language and communication between different muslim ethnic group, used by the officials. I'm pretty sure Ottoman authorities don't use Turkish when speaking with populations of Egypt, Syria and Hijaz.

No, he says "everyone in the khilafah" but you're not suppose to take it literally. What he is trying to say is Arabic is an important language, and for official usage between muslims, they use arabic. For example, an Indian muslims and Turks would communicate using Arabic. But they used their own language when talking with their own people.

People also forget that there was another Muslim empire in South East Asia during the Ottoman Empire which collapsed in 1903. It's the Aceh Sultanate. Read it up online. Iy also saddened in how they were defeated by the Dutch.

Its a very weak and superficial argument. Of course Arabs would read and understand the text of Quran just because it is written in their language. But it does not mean that the Arabs are better in practicing Quran in their lives than the Turks. The very pity situation with Arabs states just demonstrates this.

But i don't get the idea why the world should be "arabized" by force? If you are an indonesian, you knew that current governor of Jakarta is set on trial for fake religious blasphemy. There is a couple wrong information here. For example. We didn't speak arabic. We spoke Ottoman Turkish which is same with todays Turkish but less influenced and with another alphabet.

What a time,. Muslims had the Caliphate, muslims ruled in Mecca, Madinah and Jerusalem. The three greatests mosques under the protection of the muslim Caliph. And now it's vanished, may Allah help our nation.

May Allah Subhana Wa Taala help all good hearted Muslims. Today you have so called sheikhs who pray 5 times a day or at least pretend they do and they do sihr, astakhfirullah. You have people organizing haj trip, now im especially speaking of poor muslims who sometimes sell almost everytjinh they have of value to get their dream of becoming Haji or Hajia fullfilled and you have these muslims who take all their money up to hundreds of people and they simply disappear. May Allah Subhana Wa Taala erase The fake borders and help Unite all Muslims and clean our hearts. Not that its important but As Salam Aleikum and lots of greetings from a Muslim Kurd.

Thank you for the upload this is a good reminder and a good lecture for this generation of muslims, how ever just because what has happened a 100 years ago we shouldn't hold grouge against another muslim. I am not Arab nor Turkish, we should try and be a good muslim and a good example for others.

You should listen closely what the sheikh said, after the Arab betrayal (when the Arabs killed the Turks at the Kaaba) the Turks became nationalistic.

I just cannot stop crying over this...

I faced a shocking experience in İstanbul during 2022 Ramadan. First one is when I was at my friend's town Ayazağa. Me and my friend went to the masjid located at center of the town(Merkez) for Maghrib. At first, I did not notice but the lights are switched off except the dimmed ones. Later a person in the office came and told me that there is no congregational Maghrib prayer. Secondly, it was at Mecidiyeköy Merkez Camı. The mosque is really beautiful and huge but there was no congregational prayer too. So some men and me gathered and performed together. After Ramadan, everything was turning back to normal and had congregational prayer back in mosques. It is very hard to understand.

How will jay-z, lady gaga, or even Rihanna ever consider Islam when our speakers call them an abomination. We shouldn't judge them like this. Perhaps we can tone down on the accusations and insults because at one point in life all of us were upon a wrong path until Allah rectified us.

(Surah Maida, Verse 44) A political regime that accepts the principle of secularism means that it has rebelled against the rules of Islam. Therefore, first of all, this government apostatized, and then those who obeyed this administration became apostates one by one. Just as those who take part in the political administration are apostates one by one, the masses obeying this government also fall into apostasy (kufr).] (Mavkif'ul-Akıl, 4/280)

I do love live in Indonesia which is most of muslim people do moderat Islam. We live in peace with christian, buddist, hindu, chinese even animism people like old javanesse, dayak and papua. I hope every people in this world can make peace together
