I bought some chunky loafers last year, thinking they might soon go out of style, or like you said, I was thinking I could just wear my Doc Marten combat boots with the same outfits. I was quite surprised how often I choose the chunky loafers for my outfits! I especially like them with wide leg pants, and that "foundation" and "triangular" silhouette you mentioned. I loved your outfits with wide leg pants and the loafers!

being tall and hour glass/curvy (143 lbs at 20 yrs, 40 yrs later 187 lbs) I learnt quickly that dainty styles made me look big and moderately oversized or chunky made me look smaller

Thanks for sharing!! Yes agree about the skirt I got it at artizia and can’t force myself to get rid or it as it fits me in the hips but I would love if it was a bit longer. That is so odd! I have 2 huge almost floor length puffers and I would get 5 complements a day like “it must be warm in there” 🤣

Chunky loafers are not really my vibe. However, the outfit you made with the white half tucked button down and side slit denim skirt as a combo is fabulous. Also, no need for shorter videos. It was fun to see you giving styling ideas that are actually wearable for ideas straight off the runway.

I liked a lot of your outfits but LOVE the last one with your big sweater belted the most! You also had an outfit with shorts. The dark top covered the shorts and you pulled up the top and draped it at an angle. Very good, stealing that top from you! I do prefer the knee sock to the sock that comes about 4 inches above the ankle which made the leg to bright and cuts off height. In several of these outfits I would put black tights to create a cleaner, more streamlined look. I don't think office jobs would be the place for socks unless they had long pants over them. I love your coats, so pretty! You are so fortunate to be 5' 9"! But I can dream. I am interested about your school. Are you going back? I really enjoy your channel. You have such a warm personality.

I had the same experience with chunky loafers. I’m actually ordering chunky shoes that are a size bigger. I’m 5’9” 150, small feet for my size. I have bigger ankles as well. Nothing petite about me.

Same here my feet are on a smaller side too 8.5 - 9 shoe size (with every kid they have progressively gotten better 😅 though)
