Oh my gosh Charlotte giving you the side eye! So funny! Love how the living room is dark, it feels cozy. I know that's a bummer for filming though. The books are a great addition, to this day I still think of you whenever I see a squirrel anything at the stores. Have a great day Leslie!

My husband and I would drive down (in October )from Baltimore and rent a teeny tiny log cabin near Norris Lake - one year there was a family of raccoons sharing the cabin with us. Haha. The last time we stayed in Gatlinburg- the Smokies are incredible ❤️.

I think your home is warm and cozy and that space you don't like just makes your home unique I think. My living room is pretty dark too because it faces south with not enough windows. I like your dog's name because that is mine as well (Charlotte) and I live in Arkansas.

You could do a tiny sliding wooden "barn door" at that little passway from living room into kitchen. Could even paint it white and hang seasonal wreaths or picture on it.
