Dear sweet Anita, you are my inspiration. Time to gather my families old books and quilts to accent my small living room with their presence. Your reds, pinks and orange colors have inspired me to mix my blues and navy's and aquas in my room. In the past I was reluctant to mix them. Now I see how these blends add coziness and interest. Now this is a room you want to curl up with a good book in. I ,like you, love a moody curated look , with these fall jewel tones. I painted my living room wall oxblood red in the 90's and every one thought I was crazy. To this day , its my favorite room in my home. The cozy factor just can't be matched. White rooms seem so predictable to me. Love all your textures and layers and patterns. I am also a prolific candle collector. Nothing warms up a space more than candlelight. Thank you for lighting them! And, of course, family treasures like your Grandmas chaise and Grandfathers book make this your home, your sanctuary. Happy Fall!

Your home is beautiful 😍 and your grandfather's book from Trinity collage is so neat. I live in Trinity very close to the school. If you are not from the area as of a couple of years ago it is no longer a school it is now offices I believe for the city.

Just found you and wow did this take me back to my childhood and going to my grandparents house. I love it!! What is that beautiful paint color? This room draws you in and makes you want to cozy up and read or visit with a friend or even take a nap. I have always felt like a home that invites you to rest is the best. 😊
