Fall Food Plots Going In, Brassicas 101 // Lee and Tiffany Lakosky
There is finally rain in the forecast, so it's all hands on deck as Lee and his crew scramble to get fall food plot seed in the ground. Lee discusses the benefits of the Ani-Logics Pro Brassica Blend when planting this time of the year, as well as a few of the different planting methods you can use to achieve success with this blend. From seed depths to fertilizer rates, Lee covers all things brassicas in this week's episode of the summer series.

Lee has forgotten more about deer hunting then most people will know in a lifetime of hunting. His passion for bowhunting big bucks is awesome. Love it.

Awesome content Lee. Loved the part where you explained when you and Tiffany started out planting with the basics and have built it up from there. Sweat equity is a big tool and goes a long ways. Also, for the people that do not have the equipment but might have a lawn tractor, ATV or UTV, check with a local hardware rental store, they might rent a small disc and either a pull behind broadcast seeder or hand seeder. I'm looking for one of our local stores to pickup and rent the small Genesis no-till seeder that can be pulled by ATV/UTV.

Love what you all are doing with this channel! I live on my family farm in SE Kansas. I was wondering if you guys farm for a business also or is all your corn and beans left for wildlife? Thanks for all you do for the outdoor community.

I am in WI and I could never get deer to eat my brassica. This year I planted Tall Tine Tubers. The does are hitting them hard since early October.

I have successfully grown brassica plots. Softball sized purple top turnips. The deer NEVER touch them. I stopped doing this.

Love you guys BUT... I have 110 acers with three, three acer food plots it's awesome watching you install your plots but ill never have a need to drill in my plots. We do everything with a UTV tank sprayer and earthway backpack seeders. Your showing how corporate farmers plant acers and acers and that's just not how the majority or your audience can do it. Again im a huge fan but your at another level Financially and that's just not how the everyday man does it.
