The fall season is here, so I headed to Costco to show you all the things you need to buy to stay warm, fuzzy, and healthy. Of course I also showed you a few things to avoid in this Costco shop with me video. I am all about bone broth, but either the ingredients are not good or it's really expensive, which is why you should just make you own. Staying healthy and boosting your immune system is really important when the weather turns cold, but those immune vitamins and fizzy drinks are not good. Stick with turmeric immune shots, hopefully they bring those back to Costco this year again. Make sure to always read the ingredients on the back of the product, they can't hide the truth, and you can easily spot the bad ingredients. Mad love Bobby...Dessi...and Art! XOXO

Stocks are easy to make and freeze. No reason other than convenience to buy something pre-made in a store. Buy bones, onions, carrots and celery. Cut veggies into big chunks. Place on roasting sheet and roast at 350 degrees until they smell really good and look dark. Leave skin on onions because it helps to darken the broth. Then place all this in pot with some bay leaves and cover with water to desired height. Add the amount of salt you want to add or none at all. Then bring to a boil, turn it down to low and simmer for as long as you want. Remove bones and veggies and bay leaf. Pour into containers and freeze.

Agree 100% with you on avoiding Emergen-C supplement packs. Almost all vitamin C sold is made using GMO corn or is imported from China. The one exception is Quali-C vitamin C synthesized in Scotland using non-GMO source materials. Or so the manufacturer, DSM, says on its web page: "We can certify that the vitamin C manufactured in Dalry is made from glucose originating from European non-GMO cornfields."

@@brieb9750 two from this video: the monkfruit sweetener, first of all, in no way tastes like regular sugar, and it's not monkfruit sweetener as the primary ingredient is erythritol, a highly processed alcohol sugar that causes a lot of GI distress. Also, the better than boullion he was complaining about gmo ingredients and the ones he mentioned have *'s next to them noting they are organic. In the overall scheme of things, he's just a beginner at this stuff, gets a lot of things wrong and when folks ask him about it he gets defensive or provides glib nonsense answers.

Bobby, for your fans. This is the most powerful antibiotic for the winter. It’s a medieval tonic that was found a few years ago by archaeologist. It works wonderfully. We haven’t been sick since we discovered it. Our friends love it. We use all organic ingredients. No powders. Recipe: You may want to wear gloves during the preparation, especially when handling hot peppers, because it is difficult to get the tingling off your hands! Be careful, its smell is very strong, and it may stimulate the sinuses instantly. Ingredients: • 24 oz /700 ml apple cider vinegar (always use organic) • 1⁄4 cup finely chopped garlic • 1⁄4 cup finely chopped onion • 2 fresh peppers, the hottest you can find (be careful with the cleaning -wear gloves!!!) • 1⁄4 cup grated ginger • 2 tbsp grated horseradish • 2 tbsp turmeric powder or 2 pieces of turmeric root 1 Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, except for the vinegar. 2 Transfer the mixture to a Mason jar. 3 Pour in some apple cider vinegar and fill it to the top. It is best if 2/3 of the jar consist of dry ingredients, and fill in the rest with vinegar. 4 Close well and shake. 5 Keep the jar in a cool and dry place for 2 weeks. Shake well several times a day. 6 After 14 days, squeeze well and strain the liquid through a plastic strain. For better results put a gauze over it. Squeeze well so the whole juice comes out. 7 Use the rest of the dry mixture when cooking. Your master tonic is ready for use. You do not need to keep the tonic in your fridge. It will last for long. Extra Tip: You can also use it in the kitchen - mix it with some olive oil and use it as a salad dressing or in your stews. Dosing: 1 Caution: The flavor is very strong and hot! 2 Extra Tip: Eat a slice of orange, lemon or lime after you take the tonic to ease the burning sensation and heat. 3 Gargle and swallow. 4 Do not dilute it in water as it will reduce the effect. 5 Take 1 tablespoon every day to strengthen the immune system and fight cold. 6 Increase the amount every day until you reach a dose of 1 small glass per day (the size of a liquor glass). 7 If you struggle against more serious disease or infection, take 1 tablespoon of the tonic 5-6 times a day. 8 It is safe for pregnant women and children (use small doses!) because the ingredients are all-natural and contain no toxins.

@@fp44DF Its super expensive - but Bonefide organic beef or chicken broth would probably meet Bobby's standards. Its all organic, no natural flavors. You find it in the frozen section. www.bonafideprovisions.com/products/organic-chicken-bone-broth As Bobby said in the video though, its extremely easy and much cheaper to make your own. I work over 100 hrs a week, and I can manage to dump chicken wings, and few broken stalks of celery, an onion chopped into 4 pieces, and a few carrots and water (salt to taste) into an Instant Pot (or a slow cooker, or just pot on the stove) and let it cook until it makes bone broth. Even just chicken parts or beef bones cooked in water for several hours will make the broth (or speed it up with the Instant pot into an hour time)

The “monk fruit” sweetener’s first ingredient is erythritol, not monk fruit...this sugar alcohol can cause GI distress and allergies in some people which is disclosed by the company on amazon...I have heard of people getting GI symptoms with just a teaspoon a day, esp if you are prone to these types of issues...

Bobby, you have to address this question about the monk fruit blend clearly and concisely. It’s a fair question. I honestly can’t trust anything you say until you do. Plus, the product doesn’t have the real “Non-GMO Verified” seal. Cheers.

The back of the product states the erythritol is non-gmo sourced but that has no effect on the GI symptoms...just looking for some transparency b/c if ur going to recommend you put this sugar alcohol in all ur holiday baking, etc...I think ppl may want to know the potential risk of GI issues similar to carrageenan of which you routinely discuss...the product itself is deceitful in its marketing as Monk Fruit is large and prominent on the front with “added erythritol” in small lettering underneath when it’s actually the other way around...

@@veg4lif580 The first time I ever ate erythritol, I had diarrhea for 2 days. But after that, I feel like my body got accustomed to it and I can now handle erythritol no problem.

Veg4lif Erythritol is mostly absorbed into the bloodstream and a negligible amount makes it to the large intestine and colon, unlike other sugar alcohols. So it’s very unlikely that it’ll cause GI distress. There is some research to show that when combined with fructose it can cause GI issues.
